I just blew leads of 1-0, 2-1, and 3-2 only to lose 4-3 to the top side in MLS (Real Salt Lake), 4-3. Very disappointing.

I just crunched the numbers since my last slider change (11 matches) and I'm completely settled on my set. Below are the numbers I found along with averages from a sample of 70 matches that I took from the real 2011-12 EPL season (EPL numbers in parenthesis):
Goals per match: 3.09 (2.71)
Shots per match: 29.27 (28.47)
Shots on Target per match: 11.09 (9.13)
Shot Accuracy %: 37.89 (32.06)
User SA%: 40.13 (32.06)
CPU SA%: 35.88 (32.06)
Goal %*: 28.33 (29.73)
User Goal%*: 28.33 (29.73)
CPU Goal%*: 28.33 (29.73)
*Goal % is the percentage of Shots On Target that actually result in goals.
Note: If I throw out the 4-3 match that I played tonight, my Goals per Match would drop to 2.70 (versus 2.71 in my EPL sample).
As you see, my numbers are as good as I can hope for. You have to remember that averages do not speak for highs and lows. Obviously, teams at the top, or bottom, of the EPL table last season would have numbers that vary greatly from the averages I have. That said, I'm looking to get close to, but not exactly, the averages from the EPL.
Additionally, as I change leagues - and as I improve my skills - I will tweak the sliders to suit my needs.

Hi mate are you still experimating whit this sliders?I have try it and its preety good but seems to hard i play carrer mode in polish league (Legia Warsaw)and i just won 1 game out of 6!did you make any changes in youre sliders so far?sry for my english its not perfect

Keep posting them, dzikipiotrek. Obviously, you don't want to get outshot so heavily in every match, but overall those numbers are excellent.
After you get a few more matches posted, we can analyze the numbers more accurately. I'm glad you're enjoying the sliders and I'm sure I can help you work through any issues if we notice some trends after a few more matches.

Steelerfan how many goals you conceded compare to other teams in MLS is there a big diffrence?
In my last 12 matches (since the last time I made slider changes) I have conceded 19 goals (1.58 per match) while scoring 18 (1.50 per match) for a combined total of 37 goals (3.08 per match).
These numbers include a 4-3 loss to Real Salt Lake. If that match is thrown out, the other 11 matches have seen 30 combined goals (2.72 per match) which is exactly where I want the total (I want around 2.60 to 2.80 goals per match).
I have about 8 matches left in my first season. As soon as I can, I will depart MLS and my goal will be, eventually, to reach the English Premier League.
That said, try to get me 3-5 more matches worth of statistics so that I can get a better idea of what you can do to tweak things to your ability.
