You guys sound like old men screaming at kids to cut their "rock and roll" down and to get off your lawn. While that FSU logo is not anyone's best work, the jersey itself looks good and overall, I like the uniform arms race. 120 plain schools like Penn St. and Alabama is pretty meh.

If Bama changes up their unis, I think there's gonna be a hangin. Certain unis is sports are untouchable... I put Bama in that group.
It's the same boring design. It's just has a coat of pretty, shiny polish.
And if it was anyone other than Saban, I would agree that it would go untouched. Saban would pimp out his family to get a 5* recruit.

If/when Alabama football goes with the ridiculous uniforms all hope is lost. Thankfully, it hasn't spread like wildfire (yet) in basketball.

I'm not a big uniform guy but I don't mind my Sooners adding some alt's. Makes the players happy and hell, it probably helps with recruiting as sad as that sounds.BOOMER SOONER!

If this does happen, most Bama fans will riot the streets of Tuscaloosa! Heck, a number of older Tennessee fans that still are stuck in the 80's had a fit over the gray uniforms that we wore and yet, they don't understand that smokey gray is in our colors as a school and have been since the 20's. The NCAA needs to pass a rule that you can use an alternate uniform ONCE a year and the rest of the time you must stick to one Home/Away set. Personally I would limit alternates to ZERO but Nike has to keep those Taiwanese kids pumping out product for slave wages.BOOMER SOONER!

The ones that immediately jump to mind are numerous Oregon uniforms and those god awful highlighter uniforms Baylor's basketball team wore in the Big 12 and NCAA tournaments.

The issue I have is not the options available, but rather the fact that there is never any consistency. The goal seems to be how many more combos you can have then your rival. I'm not a fan of gimmick and shock unis just because. I would be okay with a set-up of home, away, alternate, and retro each season. When I look back at historical football videos I always know who the teams are... that is no longer the case. I appreciate historical tradition and something is lost in this new Oregonesque era.
