Unlike last year's Shamrock Series, I didn't HATE ND's uniforms tonight. I would have preferred a darker shade of green and the shoes were tough on the eyes but, overall, not bad.

I feel that they should have made the shamrock a darker shade of green. I had a problem trying to see it on tv. I also didn't like their uniforms a well.

While this is true, the 8% Nike sends to breast cancer research for the purchase of their gear is still better than nothing.

My wife (a gynecologic oncologist) CANNOT stand the "Pink" movement. Its an absolute joke at this point as companies just do it for PR as very little money actually goes to patients/research.

I'm sure the folks running the charities are very appreciative.

Yep lines their pockets and covers "overhead" while they give out very little money for actual treatment and/or research.

I think the bigger moment is that me and CLW actually agree on something.

The whole "Pink" movement started out with good intentions. But it has been completely hijacked and whored out for corporate gains and good PR for companies. Half of them couldn't give two shits about donating to cancer research. All they see is a way to pull in money by the boat load by slapping pink on a product and watching the dumbasses step all over each other to purchase it.
