Do you get the points? What a ridiculous question for a bet. Of course you don't.
Just as you said yourself, it's a bet. Bets use point spreads. That's where point spreads come from. What a ridiculous statement to say I don't while still calling it a bet. If your team can't beat a rent-a-win by the points spread, then perhaps they don't belong in an elite conference.
As TGT lawyer/judge/executioner I RULE that the best way to do it is via the spread.
A spread is much like the stock market in that it sets the fair price for any betting on a sporting event.
The current majority appears to have set the spread at 23 points

As such the TGT "BIG BET" shall be based upon a 23 point spread.
Should either party decline to wage said "BIG BET" they shall heretofore be known as "The BIG [CENSORED]"
23? I think everyone would take ASU at 23. I say 20.5 would be a better spread.
spread yeah
it will make it interesting
both teams were embarrassed and fighting for respect..well it was 2 weeks ago for ASU but what ever LOL
its for fun, not lots of money, so do it. its no skin off anyones back at the end of the day.

Where's Kwizzy? He was the one talking about Pelini's "Spread-Killer" defense.
Not looking good for the boyz from
LOL appears they didnt cover the spread
Obviously not well but honestly, we had our chances and killed ourselves. Our QB couldn't hit the 7 yard curl all day despite them being there. Added that we didn't take any shots down field and we were making it easy for Nebraska. At the end of the day though, we've got the record everyone expected us to have at this point. It hasn't necessarily been pretty getting here, but the next 9 games are the important ones (well, 8 after Alcorn State).
Sorry to further ruin your weekend on Sunday, Tommy.
