Will recruits sign without a scholarship offer?

I've already given 25 scholarships out, but have 3 guys on my board that are soft commits to me. Is there any possibility of them signing without offering them a scholarship or am I just wasting my time calling them now that I'm maxed out?

Not sure. I've definitely have seen CPU controlled teams sign without being offered a scholarship but don't know if after they sign it actually takes a schollie away.

If its after week 5 in the off season they will for some reason(pending no one else has offered them), but any other time no.

And not, I'm pretty sure, if you have over 25 scholarships already given.
