I got Mafia II for $5 during Steam's Christmas sale... didn't feel at all bad for paying that price but it wasn't what I had hoped it would be. It's a very linear game set in a sandbox map.
Yeah, I was VERY underwhelmed by it. I was expecting something FAR better than what it was. My brother beat it ridiculously fast (like 8 hours, maybe) and I never even bothered with beating it.

they jacked up the prices of these games to where it's not really a deal.....just last week for several days ModNation Racers was $21.

Maybe Fable III if it is cheap enough....same with Bulletstorm as I'd like to get it on 360. I doubt baseball will be cheaper than $40 or $45.
Holy Jesus. The lightning deal just now, Killzone 3 Helghast Edition, is already completely sold out, in less than 3 minutes.
If it is a good deal, that will happen....but they prob only had 20 or 30 on hand (if that).
