can bruce irvin even qualify as being a bust? he'll only see the field on 3rd downs or long distance downs, which is what he was drafted for. he wasnt drafted to be a starting DE.

Yeah. If he fails to produce/can't stay out of jail or whatever.

Even if he is productive, taking him 15th (or whatever it was) for that role is a head scratcher anyway, imo.

ya, i agree. but i've also read that other teams were planning on taking him in the mid 20's too, and that many other teams had him as the top pure pass rusher in the draft. but still, 15 was way too high. PC and schneider could have gotten him at least, 5-7 picks later, which would've been another couple of mid/late draft picks.

Chad's career is over. There is nothing left in that tank. He sucked last year and I would be shocked if anyone signed him.

I've only seen that once in my life and I think John Madden was commentating at the time. He was going nuts because he always remembered that rule from being a coach. On any fair catch I think you can get an uncontested free kick. So if someone scores at the end of a half and gets an excessive celebration penalty there is a chance that you can fair catch a short kick and try something like this.

It's Neil Rackers kicking off. What more explanation do you want?

So, when they say it's a "fair catch kick" does that mean that Rackers kicked the ball off, and the Giants fair caught the kick off instead of running it back, thus allowing the Cardinals to attempt this kick? Do I have that right?
