Moved the team over to teambuilder for preparation of '11.
Once that hits (and I get my copy) we'll begin season 2013 as we attempt to ascend the ranks of College Football history.

For some reason, I think when others try to look at another dynasty, they get an error. When I clicked on a link in mine, it was fine but when I clicked on yours, I got an error. Weird.
Well, I've given up on Dynasty Wire. Cool idea, but it just doesn't do everything that I'd want it to do, so, I'm going to do it the old fashioned way instead. (sigh)
2013 Season Marks Changes For FBS & SAU
At the end of the 2012 season, spirits were at an unimaginable high in Massachusetts as Saint Augustus did what many considered to be impossible as they went undefeated and won a National Championship.
Well, not only did SAU win their first National Championship, but they did the improbable by getting a formal invite to the Big East Conference, further expanding the Big East's market toward the New England area.
SAU replaces Rutgers who got an invite to the Big Ten Conference (replacing Indiana who got relegated to the MAC in place of Eastern Michigan who decided to descend back into the FCS ranks along with Western Kentucky, who was replaced in the Sun Belt by Army).
Holy Cross remains an Independent member of the FBS along with Navy and Notre Dame.
Part of the agreement to join the Big East Conference is a smaller take in the revenue sharing of the schools' NCAA grants until 2020, which would then mark the true incorporation of SAU into the Big East Conference.
With all the rumors of other changes around the country, it's only fitting that the move works in the best interest of SAU as they attempt to continue to make their accent into FBS juggernaut status.
2013-2014 Schedule Announced
Date Team 8/28/2013 #4 Oregon 9/4/2013 #5 Boise State 9/11/2013 @ #25 Houston 9/25/2013 @ Vanderbilt 10/1/2013 Connecticut 10/16/2013 @ #16 Pittsburgh 10/27/2013 @ USF 11/6/2013 Syracuse 11/13/2013 @ #24 Cincinnati 11/19/2013 Louisville 11/27/2013 @ West Virginia 12/5/2013 Holy Cross
With freshly joining the Big East Conference, SAU had to make special arrangements to keep it's end of the year Holy War game against Holy Cross, which included paying Western Kentucky and Hawai'i $500,000 apiece as a buyout to break the last scheduled game of their contract which would have had SAU playing at Western Kentucky and Hawai'i instead of Oregon and Boise State coming to Worcester.
Also, as noted in the schedule, Connecticut and Saint Augustus agreed upon a new rivalry game between the two schools that will officially start this season. The rivalry game will be called the Clam Chowder Bowl, denoting the New England significance of both schools and the fact that New England clam chowder is a regional delicacy.
SAU will finish their contractual home/home obligations with Oregon, Boise State, Houston, and Vanderbilt after this season.

Daniel Kelly was the star of the show for SAU, completing 17 of his 30 passes for 241 yards and a TD.
The real deterrent for Oregon's success was the inexplicable amount of penalties that they committed (10 in total), many of the holding variety at critical points in their drives. There were several times that their drives self-destructed because of mental mistakes.
Their running game was unfortunately relegated to nothingness as the Monarch defense stifled their running lanes and held them to just 70 yards on the ground.
Thomas Moses had a successful day, catching 6 passes for 102 yards as he moves closer and closer to breaking the NCAA Career Receiving yards record with his now 4,583 yards receiving (the NCAA record is 5,005 yards by Trevor Insley from 1996 to 1999 with Nevada).
SAU QB Daniel Kelly completes an 11 yard in route to star WR Thomas Moses.
SAU QB Daniel Kelly completes a 43 yard pass to star WR Thomas Moses.
SAU QB Daniel Kelly throws a strike to WR J.J. Perry for 33 yards and a TD.
SAU QB Daniel Kelly runs a naked bootleg pass in from 2 yards out for the score.

SAU Pulls Off Another Upset In Worcester!
Saint Augustus pulls off yet another upset in Worcester at The Hanging Garden, this time against Non-BCS champion and #4 in the nation Boise State. While it wasn't the blowout of last season, it was still most definitely a wonderful win for the SAU program.
Thomas Moses put in another excellent performance, catching 7 passes for 172 yards and a TD.
The main story though is the incredible pass rush that Boise State brought forth, sacking QB Daniel Kelly 8 times. Boise State brought pressure from every direction and Kelly struggles handling that pressure, throwing 3 interceptions along with 8 sacks.
Talented Freshman RB Carlos Marquardt runs for 25 yards and a touchdown to seal the victory
QB Daniel Kelly passes to All-American WR Thomas Moses for a 53 yard touchdown
QB Daniel Kelly passes to WR Ryan Patrick for a 49 yard touchdown
QB Daniel Kelly throws a strike to All-American WR Thomas Moses for a 21 yard TD

#1 Alabama 34 - #18 Penn State 17
#13 Oklahoma 20 - #21 Florida State 10
Game of the Week:
#12 Miami 24 @ #2 Ohio State 17
Miami went into the big house and did what few teams have been able to, beating Ohio State 24-17. The story of the game is the fact that Ohio State beat Miami in every aspect of the game except for the two that matter the most, the score, and the reason for them losing, turnovers. Miami forced 3 turnovers, forcing an otherwise unstoppable Terrell Pryor into throwing an interception to go along with his 28/39 passing for 306 yards and 2 TD passes. The Miami defense completely shutdown Ohio State's running game, holding Boom Herron to just 68 yards rushing on 39 attempts and forcing a fumble.
