Cooke stepped up last night and he needs to until Sid gets back.

So especially if there no NBA this season, this may be the most I watch hockey since it left ESPN.

It's really hard to tell. He participated in a scrimmage the other day but who knows. I just hope he doesn't come back too early and Lindros his career.

That's why he hasn't seen game action since January. I think they're playing it as safe as one can, with good reason considering this is your face of the franchise.

If anyone is interested in seeing the Winnipeg home opener, it will be on NHL Network at 4 central.

I agree, take you time and work slowly back into some contact when they open it up. As much as I want Sid back I don't want to lose him again because he rushed back onto the ice.

Hockey is great! Man I love this time of year.

LOL on #1, and yea we were bullshitting during the game. I still want to know how in the fuck I could be streaming it yet my feed is showing before his live one

was telling me that Jagr now is the all time points leading on opening night with 31 as well with that assist.

Also got the Rangers vs Kings at 1pm est. If I'm still at work I can see myself streaming that game to watch

#1 Agreed. That silence really hurt my feelings.

    #2 Yep.

Watching the Ducks and Rangers now. Full slate of games today. 13 IIRC. Glad to have NHL Gamecenter, it's good to have hockey back.

Saw an interview with some of the players. Winnipeg had more exhibition sell outs than Atlanta had sellouts for the past three seasons. The players said it's awesome going from nobody's to rock stars. Go Jets!

Jaymo, I was talking to snoop during the game Thursday. When Cooke got his 2nd goal, I told him, "I bet jaymo is pissed. He HATES Cooke!" Lol!

If Crosby gets back soon, and they stay healthy, I like their chances.

Of course, I don't see anyone seriously pushing Vancouver in the Northwest. Meanwhile, the Atlantic looks to be the toughest division in the league.

The Isles will still suck, but everyone else will be tough.

Well, the EA SPORTS NHL 12 sim is predicting a CHICAGO PITTSBURGH Stanley Cup final... I can definitely see that. I actually expect Vancouver to take a step back this year and possibly a 2nd round exit...???

    Pens 5, Flames 3

5 different Pens scored. That's now 7 different Pens that have scored their 8 goals. The Pens are 4/8 on the PP this year. Great start.

    At Edmonton tomorrow night.

Would be a sick start for the Pens to go 3-0 on this road trip but man I'm pumped for this game!!

I'll take 5 out of 6 points though.
