I wish Mikey would look up this site and contribute but that is probably asking a little much. Competition wise he would fit right in and plays around the same time frames we do (and it's his favorite game, so playing wouldn't burden him)

I'm thinking about picking this up. The demo is very good and it's making me want alot more.
The game is awesome. The NHL team always does a great job and the rewrite of the puck movement in this years game is legit. My only gripe is the hitting. I like that every hit this year isn't earth shattering, but I also don't like how you run into a guy and then there is sometimes a delay in the "big" hit. If they added the collision system from NCAA this year then this game maybe close to perfect.
This game is really good, I mean really good. Very fun and with the sliders I'm using from steelerfan I'm having a blast offline as well as in this league.
Speaking of sliders, I haven't played offline since FIFA 12 came out. However, I made a couple of small changes after I gave you those, snoop. Let me know if you want them.

Well up 2-0 start of third JB and I's game locked up. JB got the win
OK now I'm pissed. Freaking Comcast at 1am or thereabouts decides to do some update and I get booted from another NHL game against JB. Winning this one 3-2 heading into the third. So again I was winning 2-0 and 3-2 going into the third of the last two games and instead of possibly sitting at 10-6 I'm at 8-8
