    Fun fact for week 3

    http://espn.go.com/college-football/...oll-100th-time

For the 100th time, Oklahoma is No. 1.

The Sooners reached a milestone in the history of The Associated Press college football poll without even playing. Oklahoma became the first team to hold the top ranking 100 times since the poll began 1936. Notre Dame is second to OU with 95 overall appearances as the No. 1 team in the AP poll. Ohio State is next at 94 and Southern California has been No. 1 90 times.

That's a quiet week?! Hell, that's more non-WVU games than I probably watch in an entire year...

Well, I only have Thursday, Friday and Saturdays to get my football fix for the week. For whatever reason, NFL has just become unwatchable for me. I haven't sat down and seriously watched a NFL game that wasn't either the Super Bowl or a Denver Broncos game since probably 2009. I doubt I've watched even 5 hours, cumulative, of NFL football, that wasn't the Super Bowl or didn't involve the Broncos, since 2009.

College football, I can still sit here for an entire day doing nothing but watching it, from the 12 noon kickoffs clear through into early Sunday morning watching the Pac-12, WAC or other late night Pacific coast games.

I'm interested in the iowa state vs. uconn game, i was very impressed by how iowa state played last week against iowa. Also, id like to see Boston College finally get their first win, its been a very dissapointing season so far and that last 30-3 loss to ucf was horrible. WVU-Maryland is also a great matchup, my prediction is wvu 28 and maryland 24.

I hate to say it, but I fully expect WVU to get trounced by Maryland. Our offensive line doesn't know dick about zone blocking. I don't know what they fuck they have been studying, but they have no idea what the fuck they are doing out there half the time.

Things against South Carolina got a lot harder. Starting senior slotback Aaron Santiago had surgery today for a broken forearm suffered in the Western Kentucky game. The earliest he could possibly hope to be back is the Army-Navy game, but as his arm was broken in two places, that's a very optimistic outlook, with odds likely that his career is over. While Navy has the players to fill in the hole, as slotback is one of Navy's deepest positions on the roster, to replace someone like Santiago for the rest of the season will be difficult. It's a big blow to Navy's offense.

I'm fully expecting a win, but I'm still nervous about this game. PSU needs to play a little better at QB and WR to really put up some big numbers. If they don't, Temple has a chance to beat PSU if they play solid football and don't turn the ball over.

Nebraska's pretty amped for revenge from getting spanked by Washington in the bowl game. So I expect them to play well.

I would hope PSU comes out and dominates Temple, but my fear is that they are down a little bit and could fall victim to a hangover affect.

Washington, should be pretty stoked for this matchup. I still expect Nebraska to come out guns a blazing and really lay the smack down but I wouldn't be surprised if this is close.

Yea I'm not going to bite on that big of a line. Something smells,

I would be surprised if it is a route like that, but Vegas knows best

Of the 20 games Yahoo setup for Week 2, only 8 were won by the favorite. Ohio State was an 18 pt favorite.

Vegas doesn't know shit this early in the year, lol.

Vegas doesn't know shit, ever. They're just trying to get people to beat one way or another (or both ways).
