    2011 Game 1 - #3 L 23-17

    Key Offensive Stats:


    Offensive Player of the Game: Matt Faulkner (Sr.) 15-40, 251 yards, 2 TD, 1 INT, 37% Completion

    Oddly enough, I opened up my career against my alma mater, and boy did I almost make a great first impression right out of the gate. Twice the Spartans had the ball in the 4th quarter down six with a chance to take the lead. The last one coming at their own one yard line with 1:50 left. Unfortunately, there was no magical upset, but overall the entire team played very well. The only area of concern was the amount of sacks given up.
