Cowherd had a great skit on why Michigan, Nebraska etc had fallen away the last two decades.........in the 70s only one or two games broadcast a week on TV and it was mostly Nebraska, Michigan etc. Now, just about every game is on TV... so if you were 18 would you rather live in Southern Cal, Florida (anywhere in the warm south) with sun bunnies and beaches or Lincoln Nebraska with the snow and corn fed heifers?????

He then tied it to dating hot women. He said George Clooney dates hot women with ease and he can too......he just has to work harder. Southern Cal, Alabama, FSU are the Clooney's now......Michigan and Nebraska can get good players but they have to work harder
