lol, rosters r screwed i fear. only looked at FSU's so far but

rivals 100 WR freshman kelvin Benjamin has Catch 61...this is lower than every corner back on FSUs team

i can only assume there are more travesties throughout the rosters of all teams.

Curtis Grant (#2 rated player in the country by Rivals.com).. 70. Clowney (#1) is a 84.
Donnie Evege, 13 career tackles.. 87.
Zach Domicone is an 82 (like 4 tackles, but 2 def TDs in career).

also something minute like a catch rating here or a carry rating there will probably go unnoticed more often than not by roster makers (usually focusing on names)

You're wasting your time just playing dumb ass random people online anyway. It's proven that the percentage of people that play ODs and dynasty in general is a MUCH larger and more significant amount than people that just play stupid ranked games.

You're going to wait until the rosters are named. After that who cares? You don't play to play with the people that are on the team already, you play to recruit and create the team how you want.

I certainly don't think two players not being rated how they should be is going to totally kill your OD. And if it does, I really think you need to check your priorities.

Yes i play in an 2 ODs on this site it is all I usually play. Having 2 or 3 fresman/sophomores completely gimped at their position can be a big pain in the ass. You end up just cutting them in year 1...great.

instead i use threads like this (a ratings/roster thread) to get ideas on what is wrong and then I go to the threads that roster makers make ....like Irondragon/luvtotha9s and get them fixed so that I can get oneback or whoever is the commish to use better rosters.

So what is your problem with this thread? whining just to whine about other people?

It's just retarded how big of deal people make it out to be when it's not. It's two or three players and pretty much every team has it. EA can't make rosters that are perfect because then they'd get sued. There's a reason they give you the ability to change everything in the rosters.

ANYWAY! Let's move on... the arguments have been made and neither is going to convince the other.

Last year, IronDragon took TGT's named roster file and updated ratings, cut players, transfers, dead guys etc. several times through out the year. I'm sure someone will do something similar this year and there will be a thread for input. This is not that thread. This thread is for asking questions about ratings in NCAA 12. Part of the reason I stopped providing ratings in this thread is because I got tired of looking at all the whining while trying to find questions.

That said, it looks like the walkthroughs will cover most ratings questions soon enough, so I'll give it a few days before taking any more.
