I like to go "lights out" on defecators. If I walk into a bathroom to piss and someone else is in there shitting, the first thing I do is check for light switches. If there is a light switch, I cut the lights off on my way out. Good luck with the cleanup and finding your way outta there, motherfucker! I do this everywhere I go.

you go to your own at home 100s of times and no bizarre problems. the ones at work might go bad 1 in 20 times....the fact that others use it is a factor but still shouldnt up the ante that much....?

But have you bothered to notice the schedule of stall usage? Seems to be a consistent pattern of when they are being used at my work. Kind of annoying to walk all the way down the hall and 'no vacancy', so then I have to go back down to the other end of the hall or sometimes even hit a different floor. Thus, 'off-hours' are a good thing.
