    .FLV Files

    Am I missing something?

All of a sudden since I reformatted my computer, I can't open an .FLV file into Windows Movie Maker. It defaults to that program, but it doesn't recognize the file.

    Just download VLC - http://www.videolan.org/vlc/

It's WAY better than Windows Shitty Player.

No problem. It's, by far, the best media player out there for video. No codec issues or anything. It'll just play and it supports pretty much every video format known to man.

Yeah I'm trying to convert it though, and thought I had it working, but it came out as a .PS file or something.

So you're trying to convert the flv file to something else? For what reason? It should just play in VLC.

You know...I may not....I can upload FLV to YouTube I think.

I was taking a vid from another account, and I was going to upload it into my own YT account.

In VLC, just goto Media > Convert/Save > Add the file > click Convert/Save

Then just choose your settings and convert it.
