Who's Getting NCAA 11 Early?

Who here is getting NCAA early? Last year I had it the Thursday before the game came out, and hopefully this year I get it early as well..

I can usually get it anywhere from 2 days to a week early. Last year I only got it the day before, though, so hopefully I can snag one before the weekend this year.

People know college football and the game around here, so every store I tried was a no-go for the past several years. They knew what I was up to even when I played different angles. I'm talking all types of stores. So this year, I went the save-money route and just used the EA Store to order since they had that pre-order deal for $40.

I talked a Walmart clerk into giving me NCAA Football '09 the Thursday before release. Unfortunately for me, they've started shipping games and getting them the Monday before release, so I can't even try that now.

I know a place in the NW 'burbs where you might be able to get it 2-3 days early. I'll have to check with the store the week before release, though. PM me if you are interested.

I've never gotten a game early and there are no mom and pop stores around anymore. One upside is that there are usually rosters done pretty quick when you get it at release.

Last year I had a connection that shipped the game to me early. I received it the Friday before release only for it to be the wrong console (sent 360 instead of PS3). Thankfully they refunded me the shipping and I was able to sell the game to a local buddy. I'm going to try that again this year if I don't find any other resources.

I don't even try. I'm too lazy to drive around. I just hope a PS3 roster guy gets the game early so rosters can be ready on that Tuesday.

For several years I was able to get the game 4 days early or so. Unfortunately, it hasn't happened the last 3 years so I've become one of those creepy midnight release guys.
