Of all teams to take someone with issues....the Patriots could get the most out of Mallett by having him be Brady's study for 4-5 years like Rodgers. He just needs to stay away from the Sam Adams.

You mean you don't want Pat Devlin or Scott Tolzien? They're the next Tom Brady!

i'd prefer a qb who could play well all game long....not just in the 4th quarter.

Wow, the Patriots going reverse trade whoring, giving away two while only gaining one. Though it was a gain round-wise.

Raiders traded their 2012 2nd-round pick to NE for Patriots' 3rd and 4th this year. So New England now has double 1s and 2s in 2012. Again.

Steelers get their UT CB, just not the one everyone thought they'd take.

He did much, much better this year at playing the entire game. 4th-quarter-only was his reputation in 2009, but in 2010 he was much more of a complete QB.

Just saw that. Definitely a win for the Pats there. Gained a 7th this year and 2nd next year, in exchange for one each of their billion 3rd and 4th round picks.

Yeah, especially since Belichick basically said on NFL Network that they didn't see any players worth taking in the rest of the 3rd round. He also said that they started fielding calls from the Raiders about the trade in the early afternoon -- about 6 hours before the trade was finally made. I can't understand why the Raiders were so desperate for an extra 3rd round pick, but eh.

I probably won't watch it all, but I'll keep an eye on it from time to time.

the sad truth is, except for movies and a few channel flippings, I tend to just leave it on the NFL network year round. I dont like all the talking head shows and they repeat a lot. But if there isnt anything on, its back to football haha.

I probably have a lot of subconscious football stuff in my head filed away somewhere haha

I dont even really know much about all the names ( I dont care for mock draft talk ) but i'm a football fan as it is haha

I still feel theres something bizarrely twisted about watching the combine......

Pats took Mallet. Interesting. Could he be the eventual replacement for an aging girly boy with golden locks?
