    NCAA Football 12 Custom Covers

Credit to jcrusick for creating custom cover templates and as a result, I've decided to volunteer to take SOME custom cover requests. Initially I'll only be fulfilling requests from Donators to the site but feel free to submit a request regardless. Be mindful though, this isn't as an attempt to get you to pay for a custom cover but rather a thank-you to those that have donated in our first year. I have access to quite a fair selection of high quality images but obviously not to all teams.

With all of that said, here's my first of the year. Any feedback is always welcome.

I haven't posted here in a while, but I can also take some requests for cover.

I tried a couple basic ones. I just have no patience for cutting out players. I couldn't figure which background I liked better for Denard.

Are you using the magnetic lasso tool to cut players out? Because that tool really makes it a breeze to cut images.

The best way to cut a player out is the pen tool. It takes a while, but it gives you the best results.

I tried the lasso tool before with some success but it was still a pain. The pen tool would drive me nuts. I've tried that before and quickly quit. I just don't have the time or patience.

Yeah, I've realized that the pen tool is much more accurate, but meh.

Will do... have a request from souljahbill that came in first but after I get that one, I'll knock yours out.

So, how do you guys add the back or do we just print out the front and slide that in over the real cover?

Yeah, generally you just print out the front and slide it in over the real cover. For PS3 guys, if you don't have a high quality printer at home, you can always take a flashdrive to Walmart or Walgreens or somewhere and print it out using one of those Kodak instant printers.

That picture is too small but I'm sure I can find a high quality image of him to use.

I'll see if I can find an image... defensive players are often hard to find quality shots of.
