Nice between Prime and Netflix I'm not really sure why I even bother with the Movie Package for my cable subscription.

Between Prime, Netflix, and Hulu Plus (which is eh as I don't use it too much), along with the new Sling coming to XB1 so I can get ESPN, I'm glad I ditched cable a couple years ago.

Very if you watch a lot of network shows and want to cut cable. Not so much for cable shows.

    Bingo.

If I was going to cut any of the streaming services, Hulu Plus would be first.

I'd like to get rid of cable but my wife watches a lot of HGTV and ID and LMN and I'm watching the movie channels (HBO, Cinemax, Starz, Encore) or ESPN. If WatchESPN/ESPN3 ever went cableless, that would be another reason for me to cut cable, especially with HBOGo going cableless soon.

Yeah. Sports is cable's trump card.

That and DVR'ing a lot of shows that aren't on the streaming are the main reasons I still have cable.

Hulu Plus is good for cable shows if you're using the computer. There are quite a few shows that they can stream on the PC but not other devices. At least quite a few that I watch fall under that.

Hulu Plus has been good for us because we were hooking up my PC to the TV to stream ABC.com and similar. So it's nice to just use it through the Roku now.

As Austin said, if it came to it, it would be the first I'd cut.

Can't wait to start using Sling in March. (Just waiting until then)

As most people know, Amazon Prime Day was a complete flop....

Me either. Almost got Borderlands for PS4 as I have $25 in credit from my Amazon Rewards credit card, but was too deep in the waitlist.

For those that use Instantwatcher.com to keep up with new Netflix titles, they have been toying around with Amazon Prime for some time but nothing functional enough to recommend, until now. They have the same setup as Netflix and you can finally sort by date added and year released (Amazon.com only gives you decade released which is not very handy).
