Texas Tech is still running the Air Force playbook? Man, I thought we changed that. Looks like they've got a decent (B+) offense though, so maybe they've adapted?

FSU downs NC St on two more pick 6's and a punt return for TD, up next is clemson's one man band of senior slot WR and starting CB Gary Peters who is up for the heisman.

Right now Ohio is in an ice storm and we're under a level 3 ice emergency (no travel on roads permitted), and power is missing/flickering at the moment. We could see up to an inch or more of ice and winds are picking up and could go up to as much as 40-45mph. We already have about .75 inches of ice and could see up to 1.5 inches, which would easily snap power lines, so if that happens, I will text one of you about it.

    Just a heads-up.

#25 A&M continues to run over inferior competition, rolling up 366 yards on the ground against Texas Tech.

The Aggies also manage 6 touchdowns in a 38-10 victory because somehow a long run on the opening drive was credited as a touchdown despite the officials ruling the player down inside the 1.

Miami's defense forces 7 turnover,(4ints,3fum) and shut out VT 52-0.

GG RC. You had some really bad breaks and everything was going my way. GL the rest of the season as you should win out.

Another absolute embarrassment!! The opening drive, my defense was swarming all over the field, tackling miami's Heisman candidate in the bacckfield on first contact and swatting passes from the middle of the field. On my first possession, my RB fumbles the ball and suddenly noone on the team can tackle ever again. No offense to ryby, he's a hell of a player, but I have absolutely NO IDEA what to do, I can dive, I can big hit, I can strafe, I can just not touch the buttons at all, it doesn't matter, I cannot tackle anyone. Several passes hit my recievers hands only to bounce off and to the turf, while miami would pass the ball, I would get a +3 skills for a swat, and the reciever would still make the catch, one for a TD. I set some blocking and recieving gameplan settings to aggressive and on the very first play, THE VERY FIRST PLAY, after I set these I was called for holding, THE VERY FIRST PLAY.. I made what I thought were quick passes to an open reciever only to have the pass go way further left that I had intended and the ball got picked. This particular play was one in which I had finally gotten into the red zone and thought I would finally score. If a Miami defender was in the backfield, my back got tackled immediately. The very first drive my back broke some tackles, but after the fumble he did not break a single tackle the rest of the game. (except at the very end when ryby was trying to let me get some yards).

I have no idea what to do, I am begging you guys for help! I love this game and I have loved playing with you guys, I am no stranger to this franchise as I have had all but one release of NCAA football sincce '98. Every time the ball bounces, it bounces into the other teams hands. I try to use the strategy gameplanning and I always get flagged. I try to use different methods for tackling and the back breaks the tackle and runs huge, I try to use the sticks when running the ball and I either get creamed behind the LOS or I fumble. I absolutely have no idea what to do. Getting smacked around like this (and every other user game I have played) really takes the fire out of even wanting to play. You play to win and if you know there is absolutely no chance of winning, where is the desire to play?

Prime, Escobar, Ryby, and Oneback (those I have played) are all hell on the sticks, and my hats off to you guys. I know my team isn't A+:A+:A+ but the roster is full of talent and I should be able to get a TD in a user game. When trying to go through my progression, I can never get to more than 2 reccievers before being sacked, never, so I look to a reciever before the play starts who is running a route with a good break in it or I look for pressure from the secondary and pretty much look that reciever in and try to hit him just out of his break. I hit the check-down route usually if I choose not to pass to the origonal reciever because if I look for #2, I will get sacked, I slide protect to where the pressure look is and it either does no good or I have an unblocked end from the side opposite slide protect. I have no idea what to try next.

Hmmm, all i can think of i have told you about before. ill look at your OL ratings today to see if i see anything on that front. I spend a lot of time covering R1 after i catch the ball or run the ball to reduce fumbles and I do not do extra moves like others on here do. Have you tried audibling RBs to pass block if u r trying a longer pass?

I used to audible to pass block, but it hasn't seemed to do any good and I often lose my check down if I do. I moved a TE to FB (he was a juco te and it sux because this is the only year I will have him) and he is a great receiver for short yardage. I cover R1 myself, especially when running. Just before the tackle I will press R1 andd I have btchd on utopia several times about the fact that the R1 button seemed to me to be a fumble button rather than a cover ball button. Just before I get tackled I always press R1, but it doesn't seem to do any good. One thing in particular I have noticed is that even i fI am pressing the button, I get tackled, and my back will swing the ball out on his way down rather than falling with this arms tucked.

hmmm bad carry ratings? i know clemson's RBs the last few years had awful carry ratings and i would get a lot of fumbles vs them.

I usually dont slide protect on passing plays but I have a very well rated OL.

key for ol is RB/PB and those RBF RBS PBF PBS ratings, needs to be in the 80s and really u would like high 80s by the time they are starting...also speed i am seeing can be very important for Guards pulling AND OTs kicking out wide to block DEs

    Offensive Line

LOL I spend HOURS every season using an excel file to see strengths/weaknesses and formation audible things i.e. I replace Davis with Bates in passing sets. I also add my recruits to the bottom and highlight them based on their status and change their B+ etc to a number.
