Hey all,
Because I JUST CAN'T GET ENOUGH of the band location talk here, I decided that I would go through the stadiums in NCAA Football 11 and try to get screenshots of where we've found the band to be located so that we can include that with our data table for this information.
Side note: It's just amazing how detailed the stadium models are in the game; I don't know if they'll be visible in these images, but if you zoom in on an Instant Replay in game for some stadiums you can actually see THE SECTION NUMBERS/LETTERS! Incredible!
Here is the first round of bands locations that I've screen-captured from the game:
Air Force Falcons -- Section L20:
(Note: The section we decided upon is the first section (left to right) which has the white connecting piece down to the field. Just wanted to clarify with the wide angle of the screenshot.)
Akron Zips: No screen-capture; played in the Rubber Bowl stadium in NCAA Football 11, our band section information is for InfoCision Stadium.
Alabama Crimson Tide -- Section DD:

(Note: We had not previously established that the band sits in the left side of Section T from gschwendt's original posting; he had highlighted the section in his post, however.)
Army Black Knights -- Section 27:
(Note: There is a bit of confusion here; this matches up with Section 27 on the seating chart at the official Army Football site, but it would appear that the visiting team fans are put next to this section; despite this entire part of the stadium labeled as "Cadet Seating." There is also a discrepency between the "tunnel" openings in the real-life stadium and seating chart versus how they are depicted in the game. That said, I believe based on our information that Section 27 is still legit.)
Auburn Tigers -- Section 21:
(Note: After looking at the initial reference photograph and comparing it to the .pdf of Auburn's seating chart from the posting, I believe that the band DOES NOT sit in Section 21; it sits NEXT TO Section 21 in a section which does not appear to have a number attached to it. This is likely because the section is only big enough for the band.)
That's all the A's, so it's a start for now.

Though I will be moving this weekend and will have very limited access to both my computer and PlayStation 3, it is my goal to capture the sections of all of the 120 home stadiums and the bowl game/neutral site rivalry games. I'm hosting the screenshots on my blog since I have plenty of space there and there's no traffic to the site due to my limited writing. If anybody wants to assist in this extra part of the project, all that I ask is that you give me the heads-up and take "an entire letter"--that is, all of the colleges which begin with a certain letter, as I've done here with "A"--so that work is not duplicated.

Sections 108 and 208.
First, in order to match the photo the Stub Hub diagram should be turned 180 degrees(east is at the the bottom of the SH seating chart but the top in the photo).
Second, the band visible in the upper right corner is the visitor's (Texas Tech). UH's band can be seen (barely) at the opposite end of the East stands (Cullen Blvd side).
Here is a seating chart oriented in the same way as the photo (the Spirit of Houston's assigned seating area is circled).

Thanks for the feedback! I've adjusted the Houston band seating sections for the upcoming NCAA Football 11 screenshot-taking, and I'm sure either CDJ or JBHuskers will fix the information to Sections 117 and 217 on our table.
