Help Shape NCAA Football: Crowd Chants

The NCAA Football team is reaching out to the community once again and wants your help in gathering team reference details for possible inclusion in future editions of the game. After asking for info on band and cannon locations in the past (all properly placed in NCAA Football 13), they now want your help in learning all of the crowd chants for every FBS program. This list will be utilized as a checklist for the team as they travel on-campus to each program in the future to record crowd audio as they build upon the crowd chants and improved crowd audio added in NCAA Football 13.

Share your team - or any team you know - info in this thread. Links to media of the chant (YouTube video, MP3, etc.) or articles/references for each chant are welcome. Post the chant and - as important - when it typically is heard during each game.

Here is an example of the information the team is looking for:

    SCHOOL CHANT WHEN IT HAPPENS
    Michigan
"Go Blue!" (with cowbell) Stoppages in play
    Nebraska
"Husker ... Power" Before team entrance
    Randomly throughout game
"Go Big Red" Randomly throughout game
Notre Dame "Let's go Irish" Any lull
    "Oooooooooo Irish!" All kickoffs
"We are N-D" (Four corners) Start of 4th quarter
"Go Irish (Men), Go Irish (Women); Beat [Opposing Mascot] (Men), Beat [Opposing Mascot] (Women)" Stoppages in play
"Here come the Irish" ... clap clap clapclapclap Team walking down the tunnel at the start of each half; offense driving towards the student section

Continue on to see the full list of gathered crowd chants and to share your school's.

After sharing info on your team's chants, feel free to review your team's info on band & cannon locations and provide an update, if necessary. (Admin Note: All off-topic posts will be deleted.)

You might just have to look inside a bunch of general videos... like these.

"Arkansas State --- Red Wolves" chant - used at random times but particularly during timeouts, just prior to kickoff, etc. Our most common chant. Will repeat 5 times or so.
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature...9CyTrnRw#t=55s

"ASU" chant - used at random times though particularly after big plays, wins, etc.
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature...gE419NMw#t=24s

Fight Song - During the fight song, the crowd will chant the Loyalty Song (fight song) but put particular emphasis on the "fight, fight, fight" as well as the "Red W-O-L-V-E-S" portion. No good video found yet.

If they add things I hope they sound good and not just in the game as a marketing bullet point. I hope they focus on the quality of the band music in the future. The right song often gets played but it's not as good as the sounds you can pull off the net. I'm sure copyright restrictions hurt some things but I would like to see an upgrade in the quality of band music. Michigan's stuff is weak on default imo.

Washington State should have a "Go...Cougs" chant randomly throughout the game. Before every kickoff is the rattling of keys and the build up of "aaaaaaaaaah".

    Chant:
Time: Whenever we want, especially during Ohio State/Michigan or Ohio State/Michigan State

    -----------------

In seriousness, I think Stadium Ohio (the "O-H-I-O" chant Chris mentioned above, which is really more like O....H....I....O) is already in the game and done decently well. O-H ... I-O might be in there too, or at least in the menu music. The only other chant we don't regularly (that would be allowed in the game) is Let's Go Bucks, which is pretty generic and spontaneous.

We've added some traditions/chants since I graduated, and, like most of America, we're now doing the White Stripes. Please, for the love of my eardrums, don't add White Stripes or Zombie Nation to NCAA.

On the upside, when they did the bands and cannons for NCAA 12, I don't recall any kind of significant marketing push for it, just what you saw here on the forums. So, IMO, it's more of an authenticity thing than a marketing push.

There are a couple chants that I've heard a lot at basketball games, but not as much (if ever) for football - primarily due to the school being a basketball school and not a lot of historical success in football.

The 'Rebels' chant falls in that group.

Another is with "U-C (clap clap ) L-A (clap clap)" I assume they do it for football games, but haven't had any luck finding video of it.
