Yeah if their young pitchers like Matusz (once he gets off the DL) and Tillman get going, they will be in contention come August.

Walker is a stud, it'll be cool to see him hitting for the Red Soxs in the World Series this year.

Anyone else see this - http://content.usatoday.com/communit...dger-stadium/1 about the Dodger fan that got beat up and is still in a coma. I'd expect this from a Philly's fan but not out west.

It's just so tough to go up against the AL East though... good for them if they can do it though.

The Bucos are 2-1 though and in playoff contention, and I did stay at an Holiday Inn last night.

We will have fun this year battling for 6th in the NL Central. The rumors of Houston slipping below Pittsburgh have been ongoing for 3 years now. Maybe this is finally they year?

As long as McCutchen doesn't keep having a stiff neck

I'm sure they can catch them within the next 159 games

On a roll, looking tough right now. The Bucos are really starting something magical this year. I'm upping my prediction to 61-101 now.

Can they just move the Florida Marlins to somewhere else?

Wow that's terrible. Of course I don't think it's much better other places. The Pirates/Cardinals game last night had a lot of empty seats. I know it was the Pirates in St. Louis but I thought for a home game for the Cards it would be fuller.

Yet didn't the commish come out and state the numbers were fine? Horse $hit, more fans are staying home and watching the games via different packages and enjoying themselves more.

I for one have not gone out to see the new Pirates Stadium because it just doesn't feel right. I mean when the owners are stuffing their pockets full of $20,000,000 each while they continue to have a salary cap that is exactly what it was 17 years ago, I'm not going to give them one G D red cent of my money.

And the Bucos take the first 2 series on the road, not bad.

Yeah they're basically raking in from the Yankees' and Red Sox Luxury Tax and not reinvesting it. Something should be done about that, but it wont.
