    Super Mario All-Stars (Wii) - 12/12/10

    Anyone getting this?

I had a $10 credit at Amazon so I preordered this for a total of $30. Some sweet stuff in the package.

Wow, Nintendo just can't help but continue to rip people off by charging $40-$60 for 10 year old games...

This one is actually $30 right off the bat, and it's not just the game you're getting either.

Price isn't bad I guess. My main issue with this stuff is how is it emulated on the Wii? If it's like the Virtual Console stuff, then it SUCKS for platformers like the Super Mario games because the twitch factor isn't there because it's emulated poorly. Is it something where they rewrote the game to play better than before? If not, it's more for the nostalgia than it is for the game itself, and that's just a bit too much for a nostalgia item in my opinion (when I could just break out of my old NES and play them anytime I wanted to).

For me, I don't have anywhere to hook up my NES or SNES, so this works better for me.

I never owned a Super Nintendo so I never owned All-Stars on the SNES. This is on my Christmas list.
