    Simple. They like to be able to "spin" how successful their MP was to shareholders/investors. People believe MP keeps people coming back and thus slows down used game sales and thus more profit for developer.

    AC 2 did not do this.......Brotherhood/Revelations do so it must be a new way to "spin".

    Doesn't this "month's" winner get something. I seem to recall IOU promising a PS3 GOW game or something for the winner a few months back.
