Gotta go with Newton. It's basically his to lose right now.

Though Kellen Moore has better passing stats:

    105/151 (69.5%) for 1567 yards - 16 TDs - 1 INT

But 1,000+ yards rushing for a QB anywhere in college football after 7 games is pretty damn impressive and 27 TDs (14 rushing 13 passing) is just utterly ridiculous after 7 games. That's video game numbers...

I agree with Mors. Moore got the best stats, but Newton has just been so impressive this year.

I went with Cam. It's amazing how far the former #1 Denard Robinson has fallen. Heck, you've got guys like me demanding Forcier play more. DR needs to improve his passing skills and needs to have some more big games to get back in the hunt.

As for Kellen Moore, he won't have any signature games down the stretch. His numbers last year were incredible and he didn't win so I doubt he will this year either. LaMichael James could get a huge push if Oregon goes undefeated but I think he is also fighting the impression that Oregon's offense is simply great and Chip Kelly gets a lot of credit. That offense seems to hum with anyone in there. Lose Masoli? No problem. Thomas and Costa to the rescue. They've had a series of great RBs the last few years too so he may be viewed as just another piece of the puzzle and not the main cog. Cam Newton IS Auburn and will carry them.

It's Cam's to lose, though Robinson could make a late charge if he shows up against Big Ten competition. Kellen Moore is a few signature plays / signature wins away from being in contention. The amount of blowout games Boise has is hurting him in the long run.

Like others have been saying, it's Cam Newton's to lose.
