EA SPORTS College Football 25 Revealed - Teaser Trailer; Info in May

After years of waiting, rumors, and speculation, it's official - EA SPORTS College Football 25 will be releasing this summer (2024) with a full reveal of game info coming in May. This info came via a teaser trailer for the game and updates to the game's social media pages.

Filmed at the Rose Bowl, the teaser trailer shows a combination of some work-in-progress in-game and in-development screens. Among the schools and details shown include: Penn State's mascot preparing to lead the team onto the field, Oklahoma's entrance pyrotechnics, Tennessee's Neyland Stadium, Florida's gator head statue, Notre Dame players tapping the 'Play Like a Champion' sign before entering the field, Alabama's mascot, Michigan State's mascot Sparty planting a flag on the field, Nebraska's 2022 jersey being scanned into the game, Texas A&M's home uniform, Florida State's away jersey, Florida's away jersey, and the back of Georgia's helmet.

The game now has official pages available on YouTube, Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, and Twitter. (Links to these pages can be found on our EA CFB Information Central page.) As of this writing, there is no official product page on the company's website.

Continue on to see the teaser trailer, another look at the game logo, and some of the WIP in-game screens from the teaser trailer. This article will update as necessary.

Last weekend, Matt Brown reported that schools would be posting graphics confirming their participation in the title. He has since updated his info that this may now be occurring next week.

This game is GUARANTEED to be absolute TRASH EA KNOWS they can slap cfb on a giant pile of shit and it sell like mad. Predictions:

    1. NUT - primary focus so you can pay to win in that oh so fun casino "card" game
    2. Microtransactions in Dynasty - want that in state 4-5 star croot to boost your program? That will be $9.99 please for an "NIL booster pack"
    3. Madden's garbage gameplay with the same cheesy shit dominating play that Tiburon is incapable or unwilling to fix
    4. Some old standard features "couldn't get to" this year to be heralded in X years as something new/revolutionary

I'm sad because I love college sports and video games but EA has been GARBAGE for FIFTEEN YEARS+ since they made the decision to chase whales and pay-to-win mechanics. Would have LOVED to seen what 2K or Sony could have done with the series but the market isn't strong enough for 2 sports titles in ANY sport which leaves the consumer with a Monopoly they must chose whether to support or not.

I'm excited for this May to see the full reveal of the game and see what all we are going to get.
