Televised Games
Looks like I picked a good weekend to clean my entire apartment. Only a handful of games worth even having on. Only two that are likely to keep my attention.

I'll be flying back into town just in time for the Nebraska / Texas game....hopefully we can continue the FU to the Big XII tour with a similar performance from last Thursday.
Only a few games will have my attention on Saturday, namely Auburn-Arkansas, Texas-Nebraska, and Ohio St.-Wisconsin. Missouri-Texas A&M and Iowa-"that other school" are possibilities.

Kansas is terrible, losing at home to Kansas State 59-7. How did they beat Georgia Tech? GT must have been sleep-walking.
As bad as KU is playing, GT should have been able to beat them in their sleep. Though, I don't think KU is as bad as they look so maybe that was the one game this year where they played to their potential.
Yeah, I watched a fair amount of the KU-GT game, and I've watched some other KU games here and there. They haven't looked the same as they did that week in any other game. Last night I think they just let K-State snowball over them. Got down early, and the morale dropped like a rock.

This OSU-Wics game has a good one. Lots of heart shown by OSU rallying back to 21-18 at this point.
It's official: you cannot spot a team 21 points at their place.

I guess this was the "Upset Saturday" that people had been waiting for. Ohio State loses to a lower ranked team, and Nebraska, South Carolina, and Florida all lose to unranked teams.
And that's why I'm a HUGE proponent of rankings being completely done away with and a playoff system being put into place based on conference champions (be that 8 super conferences, 10 normal conferences, or whatever setup with get this shit working).
Rankings continue to mean less and less as the years go by.
It was a good week for Boise in that Ohio State and Nebraska lost. Bad news for the Broncos is that Oregon State and Nevada also lost.
