Amazon has listed the NCAA Football 14: Prima Official Game Guide which will be available on July 9. Normally $24.99, the guide can currently be purchased for just $18.03.

While most of the current book description matches that of the NCAA 13 guide, it is worth noting the guide will contain a code for a free valued NCAA Football Ultimate Team pack including a cover athlete card.

Thanks to xbox360achievements.org, the NCAA Football 14 Achievement list is now available. There are 41 total achievements for a total of 1000 points.

Unfortunately, many of the Achievements are the same as in year's past. The new Achievements center on new game features including the Coach Skills feature, Power Recruiting, Skills Trainer, and NCAA Football Ultimate Team.

While not confirmed, it is expected that the PlayStation 3 Trophy list will be the exact same, minus the Achievement for calling an audible via Kinect.

In March, the Charleston (WV) Daily Mail revealed that two West Virginia football staffers visited EA SPORTS to help them improve the realism and fun factor while recruiting within Dynasty Mode in NCAA Football.

With Dynasty Mode improvements formally announced by EA SPORTS this week, the Daily Mail was now able to learn from WVU staffers Director of Football Operations Alex Hammond and Coordinator of Recruiting Operations Ryan Dorchester, and also NCAA Football Producer Ben Haumiller on how they helped to improve the game.

EA SPORTS has posted a new blog detailing some of the improvements coming to the "sights and sounds" of NCAA Football 14.

The blog notes the team's focus on getting accurate uniforms into the game (including getting them into the game as soon as possible), the addition of Seven Nation Army & Kernkraft 400, and also includes screenshots from some of the new playable camera angles coming to the game.

Fans of the EASPORTS NCAA Football series have long asked for some sort of a playoff system in the Dynasty mode, if nothing else than to spice up the postseason play that is run by a pseudo BCS system. Ultimately that decision most likely comes down to the NCAA rather than EASPORTS itself. With the recent announcement of the College Football Playoff, some were hoping that NCAA Football 14 would have a playoff system implemented. Today we find out that it will not.

EA SPORTS and the University of Michigan have officially revealed the cover of EA SPORTS NCAA Football 14 featuring former Wolverine QB Denard Robinson.

GameZone has confirmed that the Big East name and logo will no longer be utilized in NCAA Football 14 and replaced with the American Athletic Conference. While this is not a surprise, the relatively late name announcement had some wondering how it would be handled in-game.

EA's Brad Hilderbrand confirmed to me that the Big East name has been replaced with American, "their preferred shorthand name rather than AAC."
