i wanted that suction gone for my running game in the spread, but now i am realizing how much i relied on the suction animations for tackling...

1 thing i notice is that there are a lot of sack fumbles being called imcompletions. First they are too many of this animation in a game but also they are being called incorrectly. Also, i hope they have field and uniform degradation in the retail and dont have to patch that in like last year.
I won a game with Texas vs Oregon after they kicked a go-ahead FG with 3 seconds to go (10-7), take the kickoff, break a tackle, spin and race down the sidelines for the 14-10 victory. That's my only return TD of the demo.
i got my first KR TD on heisman today... had to break 2 big tackles and have someone on my heels down the sidelines to get it though, it wasnt something i expect to happen A TON...

For me, the demo is good, but frustrating being limited on playbooks. However, knowing Custom Playbooks are in gives me a lot to look forward to. I will say this, and I don't know if EA read my complaint on this topic or not, but the Bubble Screen has been vastly improved.
Last year's game, the WR running the Bubble looked like he had shackles on his ankles and was running in quick sand... this year, he runs the Bubble correctly. Since you can't assign audibles in the demo it kinda sucks, but if you call this play at the right time... ie; against an all out blitz or a Cover 3/ Cover 4... it works great.
Thank you for that EA!
just watched my 6 year old play the game on AA, and he got beat 17-3 and he completed around 80% of his passes. He did toss 2 INT's.
you know I think some of the luster has wore off the game for me, may just be a age thing. To be honest, I can't bitch about anything this year.
They have exceeded my expectations this year with the features and looks to be a good game that many people can have fun with.
I did notice the cpu not matching up personel in the zone properly - ie I have a 3 WR set with two WRs to the wide side of the field and they had their nickel back lined up on the short side. I'd like to see the nickel back in zone automatically flip the defensive call so he lines up over the slot WR every time (both for the cpu and human). It's a dead giveaway to zone coverage and it's a bad coverage to boot when they line up wrong.
So, did any of you fellas notice that defenders in deep zones let streaks just run right by them? Give it a whirl on AA with Oregon. Heck it even works too well on Heisman. Wonder if that is gonna be in the retail version? Nothing better than the pump fake glitch without the need to pump fake....![]()
I did notice a defender in a deep zone letting one of my WRs just run by. I don't consider that a mistake unless it happens every time. Those guys shouldn't automatically cover it well. It should be ratings based as guys should make mistakes. I don't know if it happens at a realistic rate but I have seen it on AA.
Yeah, but it does happen every time... or at least 75% of the time... hard to say when the CPU doesn't call the same play that often... but against cover 3 I see my streak to the outside WR run by the corners EVERY time.
