That corner score was nice but be honest, Ghana has been the one forcing the issue the entire time and we're lucky to have only given up 1 goal.

203 nations took part in qualifying for this World Cup, 32 qualified. The US is ranked 13th in the world.

There are 171 nations sitting at home that disagree with your comment.

No, there is nothing wrong there. But when it's only 1-0 still in the infancy of the match, completely horrible time to do that chant, especially when playing a team like Ghana. Up 2-0, OK, maybe. Playing Bosnia, OK, you can probably go ahead. Only 15 minutes into a match against Ghana? You're prepping to get reamed up the ass by fate, as we briefly saw before that header by Brooks.

Brooks HUGE on both sides of the ball after subbing in. The savior of this match.

Hats of to the US team. I honestly did not think they would be Ghana. Now you have a Portugal team that got spanked, anything could happen.

We just STOLE 3 points. Honestly Ghana played better for the biggest part of the game. We won't get a way with sitting in front of the goal against Portugal and Germany. We have to find someone to create and keep possession of the ball on offense. I thought it would be Bradley but he was a no show tonight.

Yay! We're better than Trinidad & Tobago. Give us the trophy now. We're clearly too awesome.

Clearly, we're not the worst of the worst but watching the game, the final score could have easily been the other way the way Ghana controlled the ball and flow of the game.

I think the US will forget about Jurgen's comments about the team advancing after this win.

First of all, according to Ian Darke, they were saying, "I believe we can win". Can.

Second, if that is "bad" in your eyes, you need to get familiar with the "norm".

Last, Bosnia has more firepower up front than Ghana. Eden Dzeko.

Advancing? Let's not get ahead of ourselves. It was a Group Stage "W." Two more to go.

Re-read my post and then look up Jurgen's comments.

Ghana is no slouch. Nothing wrong with conceding possession to defend the area, when leading against a formidable opponent.

I'm wondering if all of the armchair manager douchebags who were calling for Klinsmann's head, because he dared to leave Donovan off the roster, will show up online tonight after today's win.

Then add his comments that he said he didn't expect to get far before the Cup started.

To me, it just seems that Ghana did everything better than us but put the ball into the net. The passing looked really sloppy and there didn't seem to be any spacing.
