I mentioned this in the first post that it was a possibility, except he found that it did work most of the time and then went back to it when he needed a first down. Also, he never threw to the outside receiver, he always found the inside guy who was generally WIDE open and threw it immediately. Regardless, I'm more upset that EA allows it to still happen, because they say every year "Oh yeah we want to stop the cheese", yet they never address the one play that gets abused in every cheesy game imaginable. Just like, "Oh yeah you'll be real happy with equipment this year", but then they don't give us the facemask that literally EVERYBODY has been requesting since the end of last season. Really clutch EA.

More videos from MadScientist, this time Akron at Maryland with a video with NCAA Dev Christian McLeod.

I have never requested ANY facemask and I know a lot of others who haven't either so "literally EVERYBODY" is way off.

Ditto. Not something that really would upset me. Can list several dozen things ahead of facemasks, sock, shoes, etc I'd rather have.

The facemask itself not being in doesn't bother me but it is bad form that it has been requested for several years and is considered one of the more popular facemasks in the game. All the while, other facemasks have been added instead. Unfortunately, there are quite a few examples similar to this from Gameplay to Dynasty to Presentation to Equipment... mostly minor things but still things that a sect of fans really want.

Helmets and jerseys, definitely, but they could all have 1-bar facemasks for all I care

I'm only 2 minutes into the 1st quarter, but I gotta say that I LOVE MS trying to say "degrades" but instead coming up with "de-gra-dates" and I also love Ben photobombing Christian's interview.

One of the minor ones years in waiting is ability to intentionally throw the ball into the dirt.

    NICE!

Check out this punt by the CPU @ 5:10 of Q2 of the Akron video. I REALLY hope the CPU can do this more regularly than they did in '13. This is pretty much a perfect punt.

    Spoiler: show

What drove me nuts is the CPU's blatant intentional grounding not being called.

For anyone concerned with CPU playcalling in late game situations, check out the 4th quarter of the Akron at Maryland videos... Akron is the CPU and comes back from down 15 in the 4th to tie it. The playcalling and execution is on par with many human players.

I gave up on that one and chalked it up to a gift to the CPU as a "handicap" for being the CPU.

The thing I love about the coordinator cam is that it's an "all 22" cam so that I can see all of my receivers, unlike in '13. @ 3:56 of Q3 of the Akron game, the CPU is on the left hash and has trips right. You can't see the outside WR at the start of the play. He runs a streak and from the snap of the ball until the QB throws him the ball, he's never on the screen.

While I've been dying for an "all 22" cam, it looks like in some situations, coordinator cam still isn't it.

I think Wide is the closest thing to an All 22 cam, though that is from a low perspective so that has it's own challenges. Will be interesting to try them all out.

He runs the coolest looking option play I've ever seen (the Shovel pass option), but never does the shovel pass portion of it even though Akron went directly for him twice.
