In real life, I imagine you're right but with the pitch read on the DE (shouldn't it be the uncovered CB?), but in the game, theoretically the RT could pick up the CB and the RG pick up the LB. I'd be interested in seeing that run and how it actually plays out. Kwizzy, you're responsible for reminding me to test this.

Yeah, that look the defense is giving is just asking for you to audible to a pass play. Unless they added the cushion bluff like in Madden, outside corners are off with 1 deep safety, lol. Speaking of which, do you know if that was added to NCAA as well G?

Not to my knowledge... I asked after seeing it was in Madden but never got an answer.

I mean, if you were gonna hold a gun to my head and make me run that speed option against that front. I would say:
-The RT should try to reach the DE somehow.
-The RG needs to take a really smart angle to get to the MLB.
-Pitch key would be the OLB.

But the angles there are completely against you. Gotta audible out.

I believe the defense is in a Dime 326 Cover 1 / Cover 3 look so the "OLB" is actually a CB... just so that we're on the same page. But I agree, with the short side of the field against that look, you're not in a good position.

In NCAA 13, every CB in Cover 1 / Cover 3 would have the same exact depth unless you went to B&R. My understanding of the cushion bluff, you can make it look like you're bumping at the line without actually doing so.

As far as I know G, you can do it the reverse also and make it look like you are playing off coverage when you are not.

So do they bail right before the snap then?

that one sounds like it would be bogus with the timing and animations. An unfair advantage

Actually, in college this is extremely common. The PI rules allow for much more physical play from the DBs further down field. I know that Nebraska, especially when they were in the Big 12, had their DBs sit at 7 or 8 yards and wait for them to come to them before getting their hands on.

Yeah, look at the Bama vs Michigan game last year. Milliner basically mugged the WR and picked the ball off 10-15 yards down the field.

Did he post that on twitter or where? Post a link please if you have it. I also sent both Gibs & Farls a question asking whether it's in or not. I'll share if I get a response.

Real life has nothing to do with it. I am saying it might be something that can be abused because the timing will be too long in video game world while if done right while being blitzed which is too fast at times. Unless ratings start to matter more .

Disagree. Real life has EVERYTHING to do with it. The timing isn't that off. The defense should be able to blitz and throw off the offense's timing. In this game they have added everything under the sun to benefit the offense & the defense doesn't have half of the tools used to counter those offensive weapons.

This would be a very welcome addition. Obviously it has to be done realistically, shouldn't be overpowered, and should draw a flag when the ball is in the air, but that should go without saying.

Yeah your a dummy if you run that play but the keys don't look as bad as I thought (assuming they go away at the snap). Also aren't the keys disabled on AA/Heisman?
