Frustrating that you lost that 4th quarter lead against a bad Beavers team but the season has turned around nicely since the 0-3 start!
In the Oregon St. game, their offensive PotW was a receiver named Dan-something but it might as well have been Randy Moss. He only had 1 catch where the QB hit him in his route. Ask the other catches were jump balls. I remember 3 were in double teams. Didn’t matter. He was a vacuum cleaner and every ball got sucked into his hands.Originally Posted by steelerfan
I had all but written this season off after the first 3 games but that’s why the season is a marathon and not a sprint. Helluva job on the backend of the season. It’s unfortunate that after the great turnaround and conference championship, we got saddled with another unevenly matched bowl game as you all will see soon enough.

WOW! I did not expect that finish to the season. After such a rough start, I was worried you'd even make it to 6 wins. Instead you finish with 8 wins AND a conference championship! Congrats man! Unevenly matched bowl game or not, that was a hell of a finish to the season when things could have easily been written off after the 0-3 start.

Thanks guys. I greatly appreciate the support you’ve given throughout the thread. The bowl game is being played as we speak. This is the 2nd attempt at it. I was winning 13-10 in the 2nd quarter when my damn dogs started play wrestle and accidentally ejected the disc. I was obviously pissed but what’s done is done. Here’s hoping game 2 goes as well (so far, it’s not).
