It's gotta be Tapatalk because if I open the thread in Safari on my phone, the gifs work.

It's tapatalk. On each thread though, you can goto options and choose web view and see them.

It actually opens that page in the browser. Two ways on android. 1) tap the post like you want to quote it, then hit the three dots and choose open in browser or 2) press then options button on then phone and choose more and select web view.

Both open in browser, one takes you to that post, the other takes you to the thread.

The latest update to Tapatalk is for GIFs to start working, but they weren't, so testing it out to see if it is only on newly posted gifs....
