    If USC doesn't get soon start winning the big games they'll soon find themselves hanging around the UCLA's of the world. Good thing for USC there are a lot of kids that enjoy the sun to much to come play for a real program.

    Yeah, Snoop ... I keep forgetting to check that #1/#2 WR. How did David Boston rate?

    And did you see my message about that ATH from last year? I still can't remember his name, or who he signed with. ND is what I'm thinking ...

    William Schroeder WR came in as a 79 ovr. 84spd, 85 agi, 85 acc, 77 cat, 89 spc, 88 cit, 80 rtr, and 88 release. I'm pretty happy with him. I couldn't redshirt him though because I promised him I wouldn't. I have him in about 6 different packages right now. He had 1 catch for a TD against USC.

    I'm thinking ND too, I can't remember his name either for some reason. I'm going to check my notes to see if I had him listed anywhere. I don't think I did because I couldn't find a position for him really.

    Gotcha - I do have a G that came in at an 80 overall. Pretty happy with the line that came in - T, 81 - G, 80 79 74.

    I had X2s on I believe my top 3... at least 3 of my top 5. I went forever at one point last season without having a single one.

    I got x2 for two guys ... who I was calling for a combined 50 minutes. Ugh, what a waste.

    I also got a whopping 9 on my final call ... Low Interest plus a D rating. W00t.

    Chris Rice CB [4star] [espnu150] 6'0 183lbs Murray, UT

    Rice is a solid pickup for the Badgers, especially considering he's their first of the year. After not signing a single ESPNU150 target last year, Wisconsin signs one in the third week of the season. With great, already developed talent, Rice will certainly see the field as a true freshman, possibly even starting but at the worst likely as a nickelback. He chose Wisconsin over offers from Oklahoma and Boise State.

    C.J. Young
    * Height: 6'2"
    * Weight: 175 lbs
    * Hometown: Washington, DC
    * Tendency: Hard Hitter
    * Top 3 Schools: #1 Florida State, #2 Florida, #3 Michigan

    C.J. is a great addition to the FSU signing class, FSU does not have an immediate need at FS so CJ will be allowed to red shirt and develop physically before taking the field.

    Thanks, I was getting worried (still am actually) that I haven't gotten that instant commit so getting one has eased my tension a little bit.

    Phew ... very important instant for me.

    Not sure who Coley will represent, but it's pretty certain that he'll slide into a WR spot. The Buckeyes are big time thin at WR.

    Jon Hunter
    #6 QB | #118 OVR
    [4star] [espnu150]
    6'3" 204lbs
    Fair Plain, MI
    C+ SPD | C- AWR | B THP | B- THA

    Hunter comes in practically ready to play the QB position, though the Badgers have young QBs already on campus. Hunters upside will most likely have him competing for the starting job after redshirting his first year on campus. Aside from Wisconsin, he received an offer from Auburn and interest from LSU & Nebraska.

    Since I'm tying my 2012 recruits into the real-life 1997 recruits, I thought some of the rest of you might want to join the party. Here are some of the recognizable Top 100 recruits from that season:

    3. Lavar Arrington, Pittsburgh LB 6-3 225
    5. Travis Minor, Baton Rouge, La. RB 5-11 190
    10. Leonard Davis, Wortham, Texas DL 6-5 330
    18. Ken-Yon Rambo, Long Beach, Calif. WR 6-1 180
    19. Rohan Davey, Hialeah, Fla. QB 6-3 210
    25. Anthony Thomas, Winnfield, La. RB 6-1 235
    36. Rodney Bailey, Lakewood, Ohio DL 6-5 260
    37. Reggie Germany, Hazelwood, Mo. WR 6-2 175
    65. Jamal Lewis, Atlanta RB 6-1 218
    71. Eric Crouch, Millard, Neb. QB 6-0 190
    81. Woodrow Dantzler, Orangeburg, S.C. QB 5-11 190
    91. Antwaan Randle El (Thornton) QB 5-11 170

    Noticeable omission to me, in hindsight ... no Major Applewhite.

    I also can't fathom that Ohio State got two Top 40 WR recruits that year. I know I certainly can't.

    Out of that list I would love to land a Lavar Arrington, Leonard Davis and Jamal Lewis.
