Hey guys, I like most of you have been watching a lot of football, hopefully you have been watching it objectively. I have posted my Player Lock Only Slider Set in my attempt to keep both the computer and users from cheese play's. I've watched a lot of Football in the off season and now after looking at opening day College Football I've seen a lot of thing's sims players should consider when creating slider set's. I saw a lot of plays in several college football games today, where you see bad or over throw's by QB's or RB's picking the wrong hole's OL missing block's WR drops in most cases these plays are never seen on Sport's Center but they are what keep most games from getting "Video Game Stats". Let me tell you what I mean, take a look below at some real stats from a big game that took place today. I watched this game and hopefully if you watch the replay sometime this week I want you to pay attention to (QBA), last year A.J. McCarron was considered one of the best passer's in college football, in this game he didn't have one of his better performances, he had some drops most of them were because the defender disrupted the play, but a lot of his throws were off the mark, even his completion's. Logan Thomas a NFL hopeful was in the same boat, as a matter of fact his INT pick six was the result of his young WR who stopped on the route (Awarenesss) http://espn.go.com/video/clip?id=espn:9621080 Next T.J. Yeldon a big power back with major speed goes for 77 yards and his long was 20 yards, not able to break the big one today (Speed Threshold). I said this before, most big plays happen because of good blocking and poor defensive pursuit angels, my case in point, VTech's RB T. Edmunds big run watch this play see how many good block's happen and also down field blocks by his linemen http://espn.go.com/video/clip?id=espn:9620956. Lastly before I go I just want to say that all of us can get these same stats from any number of our sliders but if your getting them from 5 or 6 min quarters I'm wondering how realistic those slider's are. I just finished watching the LSU and TCU game and in this game LSU wore down the TCU defense (Game Length)(Fatigue)(auto-subs)(Time Off Possession) these all played a factor. I know this is only a game and some people play it for entertainment but for those of us who like to get a good feel of a real football game we see every Saturday and Sunday let's watch these games objectively and then correct our sliders accordingly.
