73 passes? The only time they must've ran was when they entered the field.

Welcome to College Football offenses where you run 100+ plays in a game.

I should have known better, but I was hoping Xbox live counted as having a TV service provider.

I guess I'll probably take the 360 back tomorrow.

North Dakota State is driving for a win over Kansas State. Inside the K-State 15 yard line with 47 seconds left. K-State leads 21-17.

A QB dive with 28 seconds left gives North Dakota State a 24-21 lead over Kansas State. I love it!

And an interception with 19 seconds left seals it! I LOVE COLLEGE FOOTBALL!

I had a feeling the game would be a good one but THAT DRIVE. Just sticking to their offense going 18 plays, 80 yards and 8:30 long. It was a thing of beauty.

Exactly. It truly was. That's the kind of football I love to watch. We'll have to see, I may be willing to subject myself to the abuses of NCAA 14 (in its current state) if I keep seeing some damn great football games this weekend. Had Utah-Utah State last night and now North Dakota State-Kansas State. Tomorrow, I'm expecting some great action between Boise State-Washington, Mississippi State-Oklahoma State, Alabama-Virginia Tech, Clemson-Georgia, LSU-TCU, even Northwestern-Cal. Then Colorado-Colorado State and Louisville-Ohio on Sunday, and Florida State-Pittsburgh on Monday, I should be in a major college football mood, that I could possibly overlook some of the crap in NCAA 14 and actually have some fun with it again.

I know SMU is not exactly a world beater but it was fun to see Texas Tech Walk-on Freshman throw for 400+ yards and score 5 TD's. At this rate Kingsbury might just start every year with a Freshman QB.

Score another "W" for the FCS. Samford beat Georgia St.

Were the texas tech unis some sort of throwback to the SWC days? It's wild how they were the away team, and their team colors are red and black yet they were wearing all white? Was that an old SWC uniform?

Nope, it was their new uniforms for this year. No primary red in the uniforms for the team named the Red Raiders. Tuberville brought back the throwback White Helmets for awhile but they were not used last year.

Only two days into the new college season, and we're already up to 4 FCS victories over FBS teams. North Dakota State beats Kansas State, Samford beats Georgia State, Southern Utah beats South Alabama and Towson beats Connecticut. 4 FCS victories in only two days is impressive. Granted two of those four came again Georgia State and South Alabama, but still, impressive. I wouldn't be surprised to see another FCS team score an upset today.
