in College Station 27-21. A steady ground game was a big key to success for the Miners. The defense was able to keep Johnny Football somewhat contained. Last year's Heisman winner still totaled over 300 yards passing and rushing combined. However, he threw a pick in the first half that helped the Miners have a 17-14 halftime lead. Two Aggie drives ended in missed FGs and a costly fumble in the 4th quarter on the tail end of a long pass play gave the Miners the ability to run the clock out to end it.
Memphis ends its losing streak with a 56-24 thrashing of Cincinnati! Hopefully this will be the start of a winning streak and hopefully a bowl game!
