Knowing what we know about NCAA 14 - what are everyone's thoughts on how to attck it.
Do we go with Powerhouses, smaller schools or do we start off at smaller schools as coordinators.

I'd prefer head coaches whichever route we go. Big or small doesn't matter to me... I can always adapt.
Also, Papa, be sure to read the first bullet here: http://www.thegamingtailgate.com/for...l=1#post198400
I would like big time schools kinda goes with the "powerhouse" theme.
I would like to build a small school as a head coach, but using a powerhouse school would probably be easier to recruit the top players in the country. I would be happy either way.
Practice mode in preseason *busts*
After reading the whole thread....I'm down with whatever the majority leans to.
Reading EA finally getting deep into coaching skills/sigs....I can only imagine what 2K would be doing with a College Hoops 2K14 right now....
I prefer using bigger schools. I lose interest when we start with the smaller schools. I would not mind using 4* or 5* schools. I really would like to use the Canes this season. Head Coaches all the way also.
BTW, I would also suggest we check to compare how the true freshmen on default rosters compare to those top freshmen that come in. Last season it really sucked not really being able to use the freshmen from the default rosters because they were rated so low compared to the guys we started recruiting.
I'd prefer bigger schools as well.
Powerhouse Teams for a Powerhouse OD
I can play with whomever. I prefer lower rated teams but have no problem using the 4 & 5* teams. Im curious to see where Arkansas will fall on the spectrum this year after our abysmal year last season. Im guessing it wont be pretty.
I would prefer HC at bigger schools. We already do coordinators in TGTOD, and in my OD we are starting with unranked teams. So it will give me some variety.
For me, I already have small schools with SBCOL. If Tommy doesn't continue with it for 14, I (or maybe Snoop if he's interested) will take over the reigns of something like it.
That would be good for a smaller school dynasty.
and here are the schools in power conferences
Nevada added, because they have been successful over multiple years even though not in a BCS conference.
How many actual powerhouse schools do you see in that list? I see 1 elite and 4-5 average/above average and then a bunch of teams that will take most of the dynasty to catch up. I think whatever we choose, it needs to be fairly level just to keep people from losing interest because they cannot compete on the field or off.
I like that idea Escobar....I would be interested in playing with California, Colorado, Kentucky, and Tennessee alone off that list.
