Oregon picks up it's 19th commit of the year. Marcus Allen has chosen Oregon over Utah, Air Force, Boise State, and Illinois.

Marcus will Redshirt to work on his strength and mental toughness. He has good size and the staff feels he will be a good addition to this secondary.

Wallace can get to top speed quick and when hes there he brings the wood. Nate has stood out in numerous camps with his ability to play zone. Wallace will complement the other 2 LBs in the class nicely.

Nunez has a leg and can put it where he wants it. Needing to fill this position the Buckeyes sign the #2 punter in the land

Richardson wont WOW you with his speed or size, but he does have a good work ethic and the drive to be successful. Richardson will redshirt his frist year

Douglas fell victim to the "fill your class" goal.

LSU/USC and Ohio State/Arkansas flip positions. The question is: who still has players left on their board?

I still have quite a few targets left... most I'm not too concerned with but at least 4 I want to sign. Those include a 4-star that would surely bump me above Oregon and possibly even Alabama depending on what targets they have remaining.

I've got ... nada. Didn't have many holes/scholarships to fill this year. Got two guys I added tonight to scout/recruit if I feel like it, but otherwise nada.

Well, I can foresee myself cutting quite a few returning players simply because they don't fit my system and/or they'll never see the field.

Totally understand. I normally do the same, except this year I haven't had the time to analyze my guys to that extent. And I struck out on too many recruits to have the #s for that.

I have some WRs, TEs, and DLs that I plan to scout/recruit to see if they are worth a roster spot. I only have 1 returning TE and I have an incoming freshman at all spots excet DT, WR, FS, FB, and punter.

I think I have 3 but only 1 would probably have a guaranteed spot.

    Player Offers Pos Description

TE Maxwell isn't quite the all-around Tight End that the Wolverines were looking for, but he fills a needed role as a blocking Tight End for their run game. With nice size and decent speed, Maxwell will be able to develop into an all-around Tight End over time but likely not until his senior season.
HB Smith was an odd recruit. When coaches were sent film, they sat and watched in amazement as this kid would run his routes perfectly and make one-handed circus catches. With the idea that they had found the largest diamond in the rough possible, coach RexRod himself decided to take the to visit with Smith and his coach. Upon arriving, he immediately thought something was off whenever he under-handed a football to Zach only for it to bounce of off his hands as if they were made of stone. A few more soft tosses later and his suspicions were confirmed... the kid had to do flips and dives and so on just to be able to catch a pass. That slowed the recruiting process almost to a halt.

However, after consideration, the Michigan coaches were still intrigued by this kid and decided to give him a shot. He'll first try-out at receiver but more than likely, he'll slide over to Halfback to provide a change-of-pace running attack that the Wolverines are lacking.
P With two kicking specialists both set to be Seniors next year, Michigan wanted to plan for the future to not have to try to recruit both positions in the same season. After finding Jackson late, they knew they had found a player with a strong leg that could develop into an even stronger one. Jackson will redshirt his first year but will be penciled in to take over the Punting duties in 2014.

USC adds a late OLB that they couldn't believe was still out there. John who is from Louisiana and had Florida State #1 on his list for most of the year received a late offer from USC and decided to bring his talents to California. John has good speed and a great burst. His lack of size seems to hurt his ability to lay the lumber but does wrap up well and with a redshirt year should be able to add some weight.

Oregon has added 4 more to it's class to bring the total to 23.

Mike is an interesting recruit. The staff really liked his speed and his ability to make the amazing catches but were just unsure of his hands overall. He lacked concentration on the simple and routine things. Mike will surely redshirt this upcoming year to work on his techniques a little bit.

Sean Malone, the HB that comes into Eugene with a chance to compete. The staff promised Sean that he would get a fair shake at the #2 HB spot behind Thomas this upcoming season. If it doesn't work out Sean is open to the idea of redshirting as well.

Jesse is and was a little stretch for the staff. Jesse will redshirt and the staff will continue to look to see where Jesse best will help this team in the upcoming seasons.

Dominic was kind of an under the radar WR that the staff felt like would add some good depth. Redshirting is certainly happening for Dominic and he is excited at the prospects of what this staff can do for him. He's a shift little WR that seems to not do one thing great but is a very good all around WR.

Barrett was a late addition to the board for the Buckeyes but comes in as the best WR in the class. Barrett has good size and decent speed. He runs good crisp routes and catches the ball more often than not. Barrett will have a chance to compete early but may redshirt due to the depth ahead of him.
    Offers from:

McNeal helped heal the wounds of losing Jones to the shady program to the North. McNeal is a stud who also may see the field in certian packages during the year. He is a kid that can run and also throw. All in All the staff believes he will pan out better than Jones will.

    Offers from:

Hayes is an underrated kid that can block. A big kid that is strong and has a nice nasty streak in him. Hayes will come in and Redshirt due to the depth ahead of him.

The staff is very happy to get 2 4* and a 3* to close the class

Ha! He's from DeRidder. I was there a few weeks ago for my brother's baby shower. My brother actually played WR at DeRidder High.

Yeah thanks for the tip on him I would have never contacted him if you hadn't mentioned how he was destroying people in lawn darts at the baby shower.

Looks like this year you don't get the Top Classes scrolling across the bottom during Position Changes. Suck.
