Please take them out. It really was the only downfall to 13 because of the CPU goin agressive zone coverage which caused the DB glitch. So what do u guys think. I should not have to not run 4 Verts because of the gameplan settings the CPU has.

This has to be addressed for NCAA 14.
Because a feature had a glitch doesn't mean EA has to resolve the situation by removing the feature. The gameplanning has a legitimate place in the game I think, and it's one of the features I wish Madden incorporated. Can it be improved? Abso-frickin-lutley. A lot. But the risk reward was too much reward, not enough risk, and then the glitch you bring up really crippled part of the experience.
This kinda goes along with pattern recognition. I wish you could see the stats of what plays get called by your opponent before the game, or throughout the game between quarters, and what hot routes they focus on. You can't tell your CPU players that the opponent is going to spam the same route combo or hot routes. And for the overpowered hitches and out routes, you can only cover one side of the field manually.

God I would love to see some sort of opponent scouting in the game, telling you stuff like that, so you can set your players up to look for certain routes or plays on certain downs and situations. It would really add to the depth and strategy of the individual games, instead of just jumping from game to game and doing the same things over and over.
its a dumb feature like power swing in mlb 13. Let ratings speak for themselves
When a feature hasn't been touched in five years I highly doubt it will be fixed. As of right now it is overpowered and broken. If it won't be fixed then it needs to be removed. I like your idea and I would like to see it as well... but realistically it will not be implemented so as it stands now, the gameplan feature has no merit.
Game plan should be a pregame feature and should be set individually. I think it should be in game as well but would be a fun chess match feature if it was added to pregame
Disagree. The power swing doesn't let you check the swing enough and it's a subtle boost in power with a downgrade in contact. This is done perfectly right. I rarely use it. Sometimes when I'm up 2-0 with a big hitter I will swing out of my shoes but this is an example of it done right. If you could hit a HR every 5 swings using power swing I would agree but it's not like that and ratings still speak for themselves.
Guys to let u know im 13 i know my sim style and real football Lol
Gameplan is part of football bro. It just needs to be for individuals instead of whole position groups. This is why I think it needs to be a front end feature before you hit the game. Maybe while the game is loading you can set your gameplan vs certain individuals. However the more I think about it maybe it should be limited to defense.
No i am really 13 no joke.
one down,next question please

I go to alot of gaming sites like OS,Utopia which is back up,TSO.
Oh Ram, the joke flew right by you.
Spoiler: show
i could never play people my age.... all my friends do is go for it on 4th down run same play over and over then i crush them with a lower level team for it they never want to play me again LOL!
I know, a long time ago I used to run the forums for Steve at OS. Just playing along with the young lad and always get a chuckle when people call moderators Nazis. I stayed as far away from the NBA forums as possible because the sock and shoe discussion drove me crazy. So crazy I banned myself permanently from OS (with a creative post) to avoid having to deal with the young uns that have yet to learn to play nice.
I seriously doubt they remove the game plan adjustments from NCAA. Giving us the option to turn them off like Home Field Advantage or Ice the Kicker would make my day. Madden doesn't use them and I want the option to turn them off to prevent the automatic switching that goes on by the CPU teams (switching from balanced zones to aggressive or conservative seriously ruins the passing game). I don't use any of them because they are way too overpowered. 1 example of the many issues with adjustments: I just LOL that I can switch catching to conservative and my 1* team full of 60 rated WR's and TE's suddenly all become Wes Welker's and Jason Witten's (totally unrealistic to me that's why I leave them all on balanced).
As an active member of OS, this isn't even close to the mindset of Operation Sports. Yes, we have people who want uniforms/player models reflecting what is seen in real life and can't blame them for asking for it. But that group is normally made up of guys who don't frequent the site as much or they venture over from the EA boards since OS is one of the larger sports gaming sites to continue their wildfire.
Most of us - the regular contributors - are on the 'Gameplay Bandwagon'. Most of our discussions lead to some sort of gameplay issue. Just sayin'.
Didn't cdj just tell everyone to refrain from saying things that would be offensive to another site?

I agree but recently a few articles on OS were bashing EA for being too accurate using players' "likeness". The articles/posts were HORRIBLY written (indeed the writers at OS apparently do not have a grasp of ANY of the legal issues of the case, the facts, or the law in this area or even how the legal system in the U.S. works) and odd coming from a site where many of its members complain that the rosters are not accurate.
Odd to say the least that a site that a large portion of its membership complains about rosters/players not being accurate enough while the site is posting articles bashing EA for essentially being too accurate by using a person's "likeness" without their permission.
I played a guy the other day who obviously used aggressive settings. He forced like 5 fumbles and I lost 3 of them. either due to hard hits or strip ball even though I had conservative run and catch on. I was defeated purely by AI add ons and not his execution.
the other fascinating thing was he threw 4 ints to my 1 LOL-and i'm in zone 99.5% of the time- but it wasn't enough because every play my players were pounded or stripped or mugged in some way. I stayed even though I figured I would lose in the first half but I only lost 25-14. He played close to 200 games and had a losing record so obviously he expected game-plan to bail him out on many occasions.
I like the idea that if you are home team, you can turn gameplan off for both teams.
In my OD I forced 5 fumbles vs the #1 team and recovered 3. I was on normal settings and wasn't doing a whole lot of hit stick. He still beat me, but sometimes for some reason if you force an early fumble there's a good chance more are coming. I've also had games where I couldn't stop fumbling...
