A little promo video for all EA Sports games.
so far, I'm looking forward to seeing info/vids on(other than the obvious NCAA 11):
Civilization V
Ghost Recon: Future Soldier
Homefront
Fallout: New Vegas
F1 2010
Medal of Honor
Fable III
Halo: Reach
Gears of War 3
End of Nations
Elder Scrolls V
Saints Row 3
inFamous 2 has me interested other than NCAA 11.
My E3 is loaded. Gears of War 3, Halo Reach, Fable III, Killzone 3, inFAMOUS 2, NCAA Football 11, Madden 11, NBA Elite 11, NBA 2k11, Gran Turismo 5, Ghost Recon, Medal of Honor, COD: Black Ops, SOCOM 4, etc..I'm missing a ton but there's a shit ton of games I'm looking forward to. It's the lone reason why I've held off buying a couple of good deals the past few weeks.
Anyone with me on the prediction of Wii HD at E3? To compete with Natal and Move...
Probably. I'm also expecting 360 Slim with a price cut(PS3 has been keeping up with a huge shortage, so MS needs to). What better way to attract attention to your console than to drop it $50 or so with a new Slim design with integrated hard drive, bluetooth, and WiFi.
Wii HD is also coming, I'd assume. I'm also expecting a PSP2. I held off on buying any of the original PSPs, and I'll do the same with PSP2 UNLESS it has TWO analog sticks and trophies. :p
Seriously, though, 2 analog sticks or I'm not buyin'.
I don't understand the point of Wii HD unless the machine is more powerful and can actually push HD graphics. My kids love the Mario games despite the weak graphics.
I'd love to see another price drop on the PS3. Mine is over three years old and I'm assuming it will die within the next year so I will probably need a new machine at that point.
inFamous 2, NCAA Football 11, Madden 11, EA SPORTS MMA, NBA Elite 11, Fallout: New Vegas, Medal of Honor, Gears of War 3 are on my watch list from E3, but I try and follow as much of the news on all games as much as possible.
I'm going out on a limb and saying portable gaming devices are done. But the DS will never die I guess. Phones will take over this eventually. Same as they will for laptops. Bank on it.
I think there will always be a place for handhelds. I'm pretty sure Sony is going to release a PSP2, but there's questions. There's a bunch of high caliber games coming out near the end of this year that have been confirmed for the PSP, so it would be kind of stupid to release a PSP2 with those games coming out. However, if they were to release a PSP2, they'd have to have the right features. Dual analog sticks, full PSN integration with your PS3 account, trophy support(preferably linked to your PS3 profile), and potentially double it as a phone all for under $200 and they'll sell like hotcakes.
I'm just excited about Killzone 3. They haven't revealed much info so far, but what they have revealed takes care of every complaint I had with KZ2.
I'm also excited to see how Move will work with SOCOM 4. If it's really that precise, it has the potential to completely change shooter games forever.
From my good Twitter friends at The Gamers Hub - OMFG ELDER SCROLLS V

A lot of those are just rumored. Modern Warfare 3, Elder Scrolls V, Metal Gear Solid 5, Resistance 3, and several others haven't been confirmed yet. Hopefully they make an appearance, though.
Yeah I think some of those in the post were red, which I guess would be rumored?
Yeah, those were the rumored ones. I personally doubt we see any of them, but heh, who knows.
Slim 360 Rumored
See post 8 of this thread. ;)

Obviously hasn't been confirmed yet, but it looks legit. If it's true, it's supposed to have an ugly case re-design, internal 250GB hard drive, and on board Wi-Fi. It's also rumored it will get a price drop to $199 so that the price of Kinect won't seem quite so high.
Stream for Microsoft's E3 today at 12:30 central
http://www.xbox.com/en-US/community/...3/briefing.htm
It's not slimmer, they're just redesigning the case of it, the case design of the games are changing, too, and they're adding features that should have been added from the get go. They're just trying to bring some hype around their machine by redesigning some stuff to coincide with the release of Kinect. If it's $199, I'll probably buy it, otherwise, I have no use for it.
My 360 died and I never replaced it, so this would definitely be a good deal for me. HOWEVER, there is absolutely no way in hell that I'm going to buy it within the first 3 months of it coming out. I want to make sure that Microsoft doesn't "accidentally" design this thing so it has a 50% fail rate within a few months of buying it. As long as I have a 360 before Gears 3 in April, I'll be good. 99% of my gaming is done on PS3, anyway.
This is my guess as well, especially since Microsoft had a hard enough time getting the thing to run well in the current form factor.
Just a few minutes away from the Microsoft briefing. GTTV doing some great coverage.

Links to the other shows are below on the site as well. EA is at 4 central, Ubisoft at 7 central.
ESPN on Xbox 360. looks interesting
The only real surprise, the new smaller 360 is out in stores THIS WEEK. Damn wish I waiting on getting a new system LOL.....those in attendance at the briefing got one shipped to them today for FREE ... that was a nice surprise for them. Overall the Microsoft briefing was disappointing.....the Kinetic stuff was stupid....but I guess I'm not in the casual audience.
Yeah, that was lame as hell. They finally incorporate features for a fair price, but the Kinect stuff was lame. Not impressed at all. Sony is going to run away with E3 this year.
Arcade is now dropped to $149 with the new console for 360.
I didn't pay that much for mine, but same boat here. Would have been nice to know back then that a new one was planned although we might have been able to speculate since they had the COD special edition one that came with 250GB HDD over the holidays.
Those punks.
Oh well, I needed to replace my gen1 pretty badly. That thing was crazy-loud.
The Microsoft presser was boring, but EA's was pretty good. Sony should steal the show.
I'm hoping Ubisoft might have some surprises in store for their press conference. But all eyes will definitely be on Sony tomorrow.
Very impressed with Crysis 2, and Bulletstorm looks good too. About 10 minutes left in the EA briefing that I missed earlier....gonna watch it after Ubisoft which starts in a couple minutes.
Bulletstorm is going to be hella fun.
EA totally blew everyone else away today. Ubisoft brought out fitness, laser tag, and stress relieving for the PC....but AC: Brotherhood looked sweet.
Yeah, EA definitely won today. Microsoft's was terrible, and Ubisoft's was so-so. I was very impressed with all that EA had to show, and they truly have a TON of content coming in the next several months. I don't see any way Sony can lose this E3. They've ALREADY revealed Killzone 3, SOCOM 4, LittleBigPlanet 2, inFAMOUS 2, Motorstorm Apocalypse, etc...
Plus they've got a bunch of games that we know little about like The Agency, Agent, and DC Universe Online. EA is using the PS3 as the lead platform on most of their games, and it seems Ubisoft is really leaning towards the PS3 with their development of AC Brotherhood.
Combine that with 2 new versions of the PS3 coming out, the very impressive looking Move, the probable Premium PSN, etc...and their poised to dominate E3.
JoystiqQuote:
The Sly Cooper Collection will be revealed tomorrow as part of the Sony press conference. A blurry image on 1UP, taken at the as-yet-unopened PlayStation booth, not only announces the title but also touts 3D support as one of its key features. An independent source confirmed to Joystiq that Sly Cooper Collection is very much a real thing, and that other PS2 HD remixes are likely to be seen during the show.
I absolutely love that they're remastering all these great series from the PS2 days and releasing them on a single bluray for PS3. Never played the series, so can't wait to try it out.
