On this particular one, it popped up and asked was I aware and all I had to do was click Acknowledge and it let it go through. I imagine it may depend on the copyright claim or something. That and maybe me labeling the artist in the description helps. In the past several years though, I've never had any rejected but before that I did.

For this particular one, I received this message:

You're only in trouble of you get caught and I'm sure the reps for bands aren't watching NCAA videos looking for their music.

Actually Google/Youtube has an automated process listening to the music (think Shazam or Soundhound) for matches. It will flag it pretty much everytime unless you use a strange version of a popular song (ie live, cover, acoustic, instrumental, etc.)

That's what I don't get. I don't even use band music but rather epic scores from movie soundtracks. I wasn't aware that stuff could be flagged, but I guess it can. I've had several flagged and the audio was even completely removed from the one.

On some of my Madden videos last year(only the ones with a lot of views), I even had copy right claims for the "visuals" administered by EA. Confuses the shit out of me. It's not like I'm making money off the videos - it's basically free advertising for the game and the music I use.

Yeah... that's how I've always looked at it. Plus most of the bands I use are lesser known so that's pretty much advertising for them as well. That said, I've never received any claims by EA... unless you're using a video they produced, you shouldn't receive those.

I only get the visual claims from EA on the videos that get over 2,000 views. Every video I have that has hit that number has a claim from EA(it's the same message that you got, it says it doesn't affect my account...it just wants me to acknowledge it) and then it puts the little "EA" stamp in the info of my video. Like on this one.

I've never gotten one of these claims on a video that was NCAA - just Madden.

you just have to say you dont own the rights to what ever it is in the description and they leave it alone as far as I know.

I didn't change them... they're in the rosters that the commissioner for the OD used (not sure the name). I think though it's a matter of adjusting body type and then changing the face. I remember somewhere on here last year, cdj had put together a list of all body types and what faces had dreads. Not sure where it's at or how to go about finding it though.

Tumanator9 is the roster. I referred OneBack to it. I got it from OS, but not sure if he named the entire roster himself, or just adjusted the appearances and removed suspended players.

In the Tulane/Akron game above, that diving catch you made at about 2:25 in, was a thing of beauty. I've been meaning to ask, why did you leave ASU? Just needed a change of scenery?

Every year we start off with lowest ~12 teams... On NCAA12 I started out as ASU's OC but since my HC would never find a better job after 5 years of winning, I decided to jump to ECU as the HC.

This year, with NCAA13, we could start as HCs but still the lowest 12. With Aplin and Dyer and company, ASU was too good to be an option so I went with Akron because they had a lot of young talent and now that we're getting ready to start season 3, it's ready to payoff between player progression and a good mix of new recruits. Since I've built a he'll of a squad, I can't imagine I'll be going anywhere else.

Next year, :Southern_Miss: will be one of the ~12 lowest teams. :fp:

Yeah... I think a big part of the reason they're successful is #1 I use a lot of auto-motion in my offense so it's easy to assume it's just another auto-motion and #2 because it motions the WR closer to the OL that's pulling out to lead block for him. I really enjoy running this offense that I have now.

I'm a fan of it too, definitely liking those screens with automotion. Even watched the game again just to see some plays that can be used around it. I'm running a multiple spread kind of system, mostly a lot of 5 wide from the gun to attack down field, & I use my pistol sets for the power run game. I'm gonna tweak a bit though, because it's tough to pass downfield vs. man coverage sometimes.
