Didn't get an advance e-mail ...
Just finished, LB Fortt stays.
Hope to advance soon. Lol
How about FSU getting 3 or 4 transfers? He is the only one with incoming transfers.
Papa, ouch with the WR's.
E, ouch with HB's.

I doubt i get any of those transfers, im sure you guys can talk them into staying lol.
Christian Jones (90 ovr OLB) and Jeff Luc (88 overall MLB) test the draft waters but in the end decide to come back to FSU for their senior seasons :)
FSU ready for advance, next thursday :/
The Badgers convince WR Justin Payne to return for this senior season with the promise that he'll be a focal point of the the passing game, particularly as a deep threat.
With that said, Advance!!!!!! I say if nothing else, have misses Oneback advance us to Week 1 so we can drool over the new recruits.
The Longhorns were expecting WR Mike Davis and MLB Jordan Hicks to test the waters early, but they were very surprised when WR Chris Jones, DE Reggie Wilson, and RB Traylon Shead walked into Coach LoneStar's office to formally ask for NFL evaluations.
MLB Jordan Hicks swept awards at his position (Bednarik, Nagurski, Butkus, 1st team AA, 1st team Pac-10) after posting 75 tackles, 26 TFL, 5 sacks, 5 INT, 4 forced fumbles, and scored an incredible 6 defensive TDs. Just an incredible season for a player who came into Austin in 2010 as an outside linebacker.
WR Mike Davis (2nd team AA, 1st team Pac-10) averaged 153.6 receiving yards per game along with 19 TDs for the Longhorns in 2013. He made redshirt freshman QB Carlos McDaniels' job VERY easy when he could rely on such an explosive target.
The guys who surprised had excellent seasons for the Longhorns that finished #2 in the polls for the 3rd straight season.
WR Chris Jones was the 4th receiver on the depth chart, but provided big plays in the spread and special teams with 3 TDs on kick returns. DE Reggie Wilson provided pass rush with 11 sacks and RB Traylon Shead played outstanding in garbage time and as a fill-in for often-injured 2013 Heisman candidate Earl Campbell, Jr. Shead rushed for 1176 yards and 10 TDs.
*Maury tone* The results are in....
60 minutes to Davis and Hicks
40 minutes to Jones
10 minutes to Shead and Wilson
All were redshirting when we won the national title in 2010....they know how loaded the 2014 Longhorns will be and they want to actually earn a ring this time. :-)
All were be in Austin next season.
CB Clay Jackson and RB DJ Morgan stay. Dillon Baxter goes Pro. Not a huge loss as he was the lowest rated of my 3 RBs and now I can get the main two the rock more.
Just waiting on OB, Jeff, RC, KP and ID(looks like he's doing it now) G didn't mark ready to advance.
Oklahoma: THE DECISION.
Original thoughts: Clay - WTF? Best game was bowl game, was our goal line scoring back. Last year he was going to transfer, too. Bell - Too many picks and would leave us with one QB on the roster. Stills - expected.
McCoy is a DT with a huge future for us, so that's really odd. Slaughter.. meh. Muse? WTF? Not happy with being our #3 guy as a SO and having 777 yards?
HB Brennan Clay (Draft)
QB Blake Bell (Draft)
WR Kenny Stills (Draft)
DT Marshall McCoy (Transfer -> FSU)
LG Patrick Slaughter (Transfer -> New Mex)
WR Brett Muse (Transfer -> FSU)
Returning:
WR Kenny Stills
RB Brennan Clay
WR Brett Muse
Leaving:
QB Blake Bell
FR DT McCoy
LG Slaughter
Afterwards analysis:
We lose our #2 recruit from last year's recruiting class OVR-wise. Now we have only one QB on the roster and even though I targeted 5 QBs during the season, they all went elsewhere, including two who soft commited.
We're straight out boned at QB next year.
Storm Johnson and Nate Lewis want to come back to Coral Gables next season and try and help win the ACC.
Transfer failed... and then it seems to work, but now I'm looking at the transfers screen and I have a second chance to get players to come back.. this could be good or bad..
Transfer failed again.. fuck. This time the only one leaving is Slaughter and Bell...
Anyone else having this problem?
I had that problem last year, and OB had it the year before. I gave up on it. Eventually it worked for him, I think.
Well hopefully it works by Thursday or otherwise I'm missing 4 of my 6 guys I was depending on for 2014.
I guess since we have some time, anyone want to sign up for a home/home series against the Trojans? I should have the reoccurring showdown with the Nittany Lions so would be looking for another user game
Since we're talking about scheduling, even though it'll get lost in jungle, can I get my Washington rivalry game back on the schedule?
Right now it is working by calling one player at a time, leaving the screen, and going back to the screen.
However, it only worked for the guys who don't want to transfer.. so IDK. I'll try again tomorrow.
Prime, you interested in a home and home series since mine with Papa ended?
Escobar I think we have one more right? At PSU I believe? I'll have to check that one.
psu i think i still have games with kingpin and gshwendt this season, but if i am wrong and only have one of those then i will take on psu.
Prime I'm going to have to back off 1 year if that is alright. Maybe next year we can start our home and home because I will have Clemson dropping from my schedule.
Would that work?
that would be fine, Wisconsin rolls of my schedule then as well so i can guarantee a home and home with PSU at that time.
Cool that will work great!
Ohio State Texas A&M is likely going to play home-and-home's with Penn State and Wisconsin beginning this year, though negotiations are still on-going.
6-6
so i take it we wont be getting a mrs. oneback advance?
Lol, when does OB get back? Thursday
Yea snoop, we have a game next season. Hopefullly this year will be different since I have more than two QB's on my roster.
Irondragon, hAve you made any progress with ur players leaving?
Honestly, you're probably right. But at least that will get me into a bowl. I figure when I don't have a snowball's chance in hell (I was going to say Texas, but I hear you guys got some this week) of any national recognition ... all I really have to play for is rivalry games and a bowl. So might as well enjoy it a little bit. 2 user games and an FCS school ... then, starting next year, 2 user games and Arkansas every year ... that should be fun.
