Be around tonight, though it doesn't sound like that matters. Might be going to bed early now that we're officially not doing the offseason ...
Rest of the week I hope to be home by 8 eastern every night.
After 8 Est each night should be fine here. Might have TW round sometime but I will work around that.
Let's be honest here ... unless Papa miraculously has nights off now, we're going to be slow playing this until next weekend no matter what.
I'm with Jeff... until we hear from Papa, there's really not much we can schedule. That said, I'm fairly available but have a few things here & there that I would need to work around, just not sure what nights those will be.
I should be good Wed and Thurs night. Could possibly do Monday night also.
:( I just knew once me and G got our game in earlier today....that we would be doing offseason tonight. I'm sorry guys :-( I'm off....this just in...I will be available Tuesday night as my Mom is going out of town and wife works late so we won't have anybody to watch my 15 month old. So please....pretty please....how does
TUESDAY NIGHT
....sound for you guys?
LOL, I have offseason in another OD on tuesday at 8pm est.
Yeah, or we could start at like 9est maybe.
Offseason generally takes more than an hour, though, so starting at 9 wouldn't necessarily help you that much.
That sounds like a plan, Tuesday night works here.
I'm free Tuesday night. Hopefully my group doesn't try to meet on Tuesday night.
I'm good for Tuesday at 9est.
Ryby - you should be able to switch back and forth.
Tough week for me. Forced 12 Hr ot this week. Got practice Thursday and a gig Friday night. Sat will probably be the earliest I can go. If I get my ot in early, maybe one night this week.
9 eat on Tuesday works. But we won't get through the whOle offseason will we?
Tuesday @ 9 sounds like a plan.
We have advanced to players leaving.
Hell! Downing went pro even after an hour and a half. So did my star DE! FML
Notables players leaving Oklahoma:
Transferring Out/NFL - None
Notable Graduating:
Erik Richardson, WR, 99 OVR, 4 year starter - Richardson played 52 games for the Sooners and started every single one. He barely missed 1000 yards in '12 (965), and in '13 (992). In 2014, aka the year without a QB, he still had 498 rec yards. This past season he had 1028 receiving yards, and more than 800 return yards. Richardson also added 45 rushing yards this year too. In his Sooner career he had more than 4500 all-purpose yards and 25 TDs.
Russ Abrams, OLB, 97 OVR, 3-year starter - Abrams picked it up this year for his final year with a 51 tackle, 13 TFL, 4 INT, 3 PDs, and 2 sack year. In his career he has recorded 5 FF, 4 FR, 4 INTs (all this year), a TD, 3 sacks, 28 TFLs and 122 tackles.
Travis Lawson, HB/FB, 83 OVR, part-time player - Lawson scored every year he suited up for games - getting 5 TDs to break a streak of one TD a year in his previous three. He was shuffled around as WR and FB/RB before finding a groove at RB this year, rushing for 386 yards and 5 scores. Lawson also caught a TD.
Reggie Kearney, RT, 97 OVR, - 20 pancakes a season ago and 13 this year. Huge force.
Thomas Goff, WR, 77 OVR, 1-year starter - He wasn't the best, but he still caught 40 passes for 551 yards and 4 TDs.
Brian Jefferson, MLB, 86 OVR
Brian Slaughter, DE, 84 OVR
Starters Lost:
Offense: FB (arguably a better redshirting freshman in waiting), WR1, WR2 (but Gerald Denman and Matthew McNeal are developing nicely after a solid first year campaign, and redshirts on the way), TE (Corey Parsons - only 1 career TD - I'm like Ohio St. with TEs, okay?), LT, RT // TOTAL: 6
Defense: LE, MLB, OLB // TOTAL: 3
Special Teams: None
**OF NOTE: Last year the Sooners returned just 9 starts, they will return 15 in 2016.
We Need Them In 2016: (what they will be next year)
True SO QB Lee Williams - alright 5-star, 20 TD's was a great freshman campaign. 29 picks wasn't. Also ran for 2 TDs. A solid SO campaign would be: 25 TD, 10 turnovers
SR WR Gerald Denman - Missed 1000 rec yards by 10 yards in 2015. The 6'6" freak - it's time to be a #1 WR.
SO WR Matthew McNeal - The elusive 5'11" RB-now-WR had 5 rec TDs and 525 rec yards after having not even 100 yards entering game seven. Let's hope he builds on the momentum of the end of last season.
JR MLB Maurice Washington - He's solid at just about everything. He needs to replace a key tackler in Abrams. Had 21 tackles in '15.
Not too surprising but my RSJr HB Deon Brown went pro... not a huge loss, he was a great back but his 65 stamina rating didn't let him get as many carries as I'd like and also caused him to fumble too often (despite 96 CAR rating). I was able to convince half of my dynamic DE duo to return (the other is graduating).
Sweet - USC avoids a scare as my top 2 and really only players in the secondary SS Matt Miller and CB Chuck Boyd wanted to go pro... talk them into staying..
My current #3 WR wanted to go pro (wtf), but was easily talked back after 60 min.
Ryby and Papa only remain.
ok, that's all for me for tonight, I have to get up early and work more OT tomorrow
When will we try to finish?
We are going to training now.
