Well, if the entire and full truth of this story does end up as bad as it currently appears, thank god Te'o did not win the Heisman this year. What a black mark that would have been, seemingly creating and using this fake tragedy to increase his national profile and use it to try and launch a campaign for the Heisman and try to increase his draft stock.
Coming this spring: Manti Te'o: The Lyin' Hawaiian, an ESPN 30 for 30 film.
Te'o's girlfriend stars in A Haunted House that comes out Friday. The timing is too obvious.
