Just watched the first few minutes of Army vs. Navy and there were two fumbles. I know you said EA did not add the fumble slider to NCAA so is this a problem in NCAA 14 or just a small sample size?

Ok. I definitely have an issue with the way the option is being ran. Seems like, or at least, in that quarter of play, that the FB never touched the ball on either side because the read man took it away every time. That's highly unrealistic because the FB is their main runner. He's the one that touches the ball 15+ times a game.
I didn't pay attention to Navy, but the Army user made the wrong read at least twice on triple options where the correct read was to give to the B back. That part was user error.Quote:

I know in '13 you could force the read to be "crash" every time by slanting your D-line so maybe the Army user was doing that (almost certainly unaware that slanting the line forces the "crash" read). That's interesting. For D playbooks there's still 4-3, 3-4, and multiple, but in addition to those there is 3-4 multiple, and 4-3 multiple.

Boo! A couple of Tulsa's uniform options that are in '13 have been removed from '14. Don't know if it was the university requesting them removed (no longer used uniforms?) but still, uniforms should only be added, never removed from the game. I suppose it's a good thing that I'm leaving Tulsa and moving onto a new team at the end of my current season.
Madsci tweeted at me that he felt player momentum was the same in both Madden and NCAA.
@MadScientist06: @jpdavis1982 @rudyjuly2 The swerve is gone in both NCAA Football 14 and Madden NFL 25 next gen. I didn't feel any difference between them.

That was one thing I hated at Florida International, staring at essentially the same uniforms every game for three seasons. If there was, it was probably just something like white pants as opposed to gold pants or something. Three years of staring at the same home/away uniform gets a bit old after a while.
So while I ultimately couldn't care less about the little details on uniforms, or socks, or cleats, or facemasks, etc., I do like to have alternate uniforms as options to select now and then throughout the seasons, just to keep things fresh on the field.

:D Yeah, I only got about three hours of sleep last night, so jokes will fly over me pretty easily this morning/today. Fell asleep around 2am, woke up at 5am coughing up a storm (may have been due to acid reflux or something as I was coughing up crap that tasted like gasoline and burned like hell in the throat) and ended up spending a couple minutes bent over the toilet. Been up ever since as I refuse to lay down with still a weird feeling in my stomach. Vertical is much preferred to horizontal right now.Quote:
