yea i thought tosu from the 90s would be easy, just add hand warmers and make all their speeds below 80.
Papa, can you go to this post and respond to that thread if you've seen any of those problems?

A Rookie's Greatest Gains
By THOMAS GEORGE
Published: January 3, 1997
FOXBORO, Mass., Jan. 2— For those who think that Terry Glenn is an overnight sensation, think again. Sensational? Yes. But there is nothing overnight about it.
Glenn was an all-America receiver at Ohio State. He was the seventh player selected in the 1996 draft. In his rookie season with the New England Patriots, he caught 90 passes for 1,132 yards and 6 touchdowns. No other receiver in the 76-year history of the National Football League caught more passes in his first season. The last rookie to gain more receiving yards than Glenn was Bill Groman in Houston -- and that was 26 years ago.
...
The 22-year-old Glenn is 5 feet 10 inches, 184 pounds. He has run the 40-yard sprint in 4.29 seconds. A time of 4.5 is considered fast in the N.F.L. A 4.29 is really cooking.
lol @ Prime....Jeff....I haven't run into that....I didn't touch the sleeves....just tape, towels, shields, neckrolls, helmets, backpads, and shoulder pad height.
Oh yea....Jeff...after seeing that picture that Oneback posted....put Eddie George's shoulder pad height on 100....my GOODNESS! lol
there is always an exception to the rule, i hope i get to play joe germaine in the sugar bowl! i always thought it was funny they based keeanu reeves off him in the replacements.
Are you really going to edit your roster to 90-fy them?
and boldin broke his rookie reception record :)
speaking of ready to go, what are the plans for the start of this?
Ok no problem.
Be honest, Snoop.... :-)
ohhh i vote to advance to week one, it wont affect him (he just needs to bury the players he wants redshirted on the depth chart (and not super sim)
This is the most recruits I've ever had on my board. I'm hoping I can get all of them.
im hoping we meet in a bowl game and dont want to spoil it ;)
Off-topic: It's amusing to me with all the Huskers on this forum that Nebraska's a CPU team.
I am loving the Dynasty Wire. Not to mention the stories but it's cool seeing the pics and videos.
Definitely! Speaking of this....has anybody had any trouble creating a story on the website? It doesn't do anything when I click on the create button after I typed the article, selected the media, etc. I was thinking it was my IE browser on a laptop, but I wanted to make sure. I was trying to create a story about an injury and couldn't.
I created one last night and it worked fine. It even shows up in the dynasty.
Lmfao. I've been e-mailed 3 times in 40 minutes that I'm the last user in the dynasty not Ready.
Well I was bored at work and started looking at my QBs once Potts and Sticks leave, and I may be running a different type of offense next season.
Anyone else facing the BS CPU breaks damn near every tackle? I mean I'm not going for strips or hit sticks, even set big hits to conservative instead of balanced.
They always get that animation where it freaking propels them to run faster and ur not catching them but I never get that animation breaking tackles.
i couldn't tackle BYUs RB for shit in the rain, i think he broke like 17 tackles total (it felt like it), but overall ive had success sacking the QB manually and with the DL
I was going to ask this same question. Wayyyyyyyy too many broken tackles, especially for the relatively inferior competition we've been playing.
Upping the tackling or knocking down the RB Ability slider a tad would probably help.
That's actually a good point ... I haven't had problems with the QB or with most receivers ... just the running backs that are breaking tackles left and right.
ECU's back broke 8 tackles on 11 runs, the receivers were never tackled on the first attempt, breaking the mist tackles and got 3 TD's this way.
Yeah I can get the QB manually usually with my backers or if the QB tries to get cute and run.
I had a huge problem with Toledo breaking a ton of tackles, Iowa wasn't a big problem since they passed more than they ran but when they did, they called for holding on about 3-5 big runs (blatant holding). Tulsa didn't run much.
I'm having a problem getting sacks but I've started switching up my blitzes and getting alot of TFLs running a 3-3-5 since I can release a safety or a linebacker safely without worrying about the pass too much. I didn't run a 3-3-5 against Toledo (ran a 4-3 which failed), so that's why I've had a big improvement.
Bonus, parents are getting an HDTV for the cottage in michigan, so i wont have to play my games on a dinky TV this weekend!
Auburn was the first team I faced that broke tackles, but it wasn't unreal because it was Ontario McCaleb or Mario Fannin. I still shut down their run game tho. Once Cameron Newton went out for the game their offense went downhill.
Hey Skip, have you heard much about madden Online Franchise this year? Did they add salary cap and import draft classes?
yea that is pretty a pretty dumb reason lol, the OF was so broken it was worthless to play at all :/ might be first year i dont purchase madden at all, i doubt they have done anything to offline franchise as well.
I dont play Online or Offline Franchise at all, I strictly play in leagues in another community. I loved what they did to Madden 10 so I'm sure I will love 11 with the addition of Locomotion alone.
Mostly for the same reasons that I hate playing the Offline Dynasties in NCAA, too much tweaking needs to be done just to play the CPU.
I think I just played the best game of my life lol. I gave 28 points in the first quarter, but only allowed 3 for the rest of the game.
i can see that skip, i just have a good friend who lives in WA now and when we were in the navy we used to love fantasy drafting teams and doing franchises...usually we do 1 fantasy draft and 1 with regular rosters and our favorite team.
